Description

The present invention relates to a deep excavation bucket boom for hydraulic excavator excavator and a shovel with such an arrow. It has applications in the field of civil engineering and more particularly for the realization of excavations at great depth. Hydraulic excavators with hydraulic control are of a use now common in earthworks. For the realization of an excavation, a bucket at the end of articulated arm of excavator is conventionally used. However, because the articulated arm has inextensible segments, the excavation is limited in depth. In order to be able to carry out deeper excavations, it has been proposed to use arms with telescopic segments as for example described in US Pat. No. 5,473,828. Another solution has been the production of specific machines intended for deep excavations, such as the one for example. described in FR 2 730 750 or US Pat. No. 2,594,720. Known solutions have certain drawbacks, such as the need to make a specific machine or the use of cable control means which have their own limits. The present invention proposes to use a conventional machine of the hydraulic excavator type with articulated arm which can be used for all types of work and in which the arm is replaced, in practice a segment of the arm which is its distal end, by a specific boom adapted to deep excavations and which can be installed or removed quickly thanks to a quick coupling system. It is thus possible to obtain greater versatility for the excavator while reducing the costs of the machine fleet by not having to acquire or make a specific machine for deep excavations. The boom in question is, furthermore, configured to provide a certain stability and interesting performance to the excavator on which it is implemented while allowing the transport of the excavator with said boom under conventional conditions of transport of such machines. . In particular, thanks to its structure and the members implemented, including hydraulic motors and hydraulic servocontrols, high performance is obtained in terms of capacity and speed of excavation work. Thus, the invention relates to a deep dump excavation boom for hydraulic excavator, said excavator having a frame on which a rotating turret is mounted and a proximal arm articulated at its first end to said turret, said boom carrying the excavation bucket with hydraulic control and being intended to be connected by its first end to the second end of the proximal arm as well as electrical and hydraulic circuits of said excavator. According to the invention, the connection of the boom to the proximal arm is a quick-attaching removable attachment allowing locking in two angular positions of the boom relative to the arm, an operational position and a transport position, the bucket is connected to the boom by a cable system for raising / lowering said bucket, the second end of the boom having a cable pulley system allowing the bucket to move vertically in front of said boom, the removable boom supports the all the means necessary for the movements of the bucket and in particular: at least one hydraulic winch for the cable system, at least one hydraulic hose reel / unwinder for a system of hydraulic hoses extended between the bucket and the reel or reels / hose unwinders, the corresponding hydraulic distribution systems, and, in the operational position of the boom, the axis of the tr it is positioned in a vertical plane located inside the extreme points of support of the excavator on the ground, and, in the operational position of the boom, the winch or winches and the winder (s) are arranged at the rear of the a line passing through the pulleys and the point of articulation of the arm to the turret so that they are outside the field of view of an operator installed in the turret.

The invention also relates to a hydraulic excavator which comprises a deep excavation bucket arrow according to one or more of the features presented. Thanks to the invention, in the operational position of the boom, the winch or winches are located outside the field of view of an operator at his workstation in the turret, field of vision between this operator and the bucket, whatever the position of the latter above the ground level. The operator can therefore see the bucket regardless of its position in height above the ground, which can be particularly important in congested work spaces. The present invention, without it being so far limited, will now be exemplified with the following description of embodiments and implementation in relation to: - Figure 1 which shows a side view of a digger with hydraulic control equipped with a large depth excavation dump boom of the invention, - Figure 2 which shows a side view of the excavator on its transport trailer, - Figure 3 which represents the arrow and a part of the arm on which it is mounted in plan view with partial cuts and transparencies of the elements of the arrow, - Figure 4 which shows part of the boom and part of the arm on which it is mounted in rear view (From the turret cabin) with partial cuts and transparencies of the boom elements, FIG. 5 which shows the hydraulic control diagram of the winding / hydraulic windlass cable run. The excavator 1 of Figure 1 is of the crawler excavator type with turret 12 with rotating motor. The turret 12 comprises, towards the front of the shovel, a cabin for the operator and rearward 30 an engine block and any counterweight. An arm 2 hinged at 11 is attached to the turret by its proximal end and the arrow 3 of the invention by its distal end. The arm is actuated by a not shown jack for raising and lowering in an anteroposterior plane of the turret of the shovel. Due to the arrangement of the hinge 11 of the proximal end of the arm 2, the arm is laterally offset from the cab. The distal end of the arm 2 may describe a circle on the front of the turret, in front of and above the cabin. The boom 3 is fixed to the distal end of the arm 2 by means of a fastener or quick coupler 4 allowing the exchange of the boom with other work elements usable by the shovel and in particular conventionally encountered on this type shovel. In this embodiment, the quick attachment 4 is articulated and the angular relationship between the main axes of the arm 2 and the boom 3 can take 2 predefined lockable positions: an operational position and a transport position. In this example of Figure 1, the arm and the arrow are substantially aligned in operational position. In relation to Figures 1, 3 and 4, the boom 3 has a first end, proximal, corresponding to the quick attachment 4 and to which two lateral hydraulic winches 5a, 5b are fixed, offset towards the rear of the boom. Note that for reasons of simplification, the hydraulic motors of the winches are shown in the same position in Figure 3 and Figure 4 while in practice, the position of the hydraulic motors is that of Figure 4. The second end , distal, of the boom comprises two lateral pulleys 10a, 10b of return of two cables 6a, 6b lateral fixed at their first ends to two drums 14 of the two hydraulic winches 5a, 5b and at their other two ends to a gallows 15 of bucket 9. The bucket 9 can thus be raised and lowered by the action of the winches 5a, 5b and cables 6a, 6b. The two lateral drums of the two cables are driven by two hydraulic motors 15. The control opening and closing of the bucket 9 is effected by hydraulic control via hydraulic hoses 8a, 8b lateral whose winding / automatic unwinding are provided by two winder / unwinder 7a, 7b hoses themselves hydraulically controlled and which are fixed to the arrow. The hydraulic control of the two winder / unwinder 7a, 7b of flexible is provided by a hydraulic control device controlled by PLC constituting a hydraulic automaton. The hydraulic automaton ensures a substantially constant tension of the hoses regardless of the phase of the movement of the bucket (up, down keeps) and the height position of the bucket.

Note that we use the qualifier side to mean that the bodies in question, including drums winches, cables, pulleys, reels / unwinders and hoses are located laterally in substantially anteroposterior planes, on either side of the arrow, substantially symmetrically with respect to the latter. The arrow 3 is a metal complex piece made by assembling, preferably by welding, metal plates between them and specific parts (for example attachment piece for the boom portion corresponding to the quick attachment or pulley bearing parts. ..).

Overall, the arrow is in the form of a rectangle in cross section, that is to say with two substantially parallel lateral plates joined together transversely, but it could consist of a lattice of tubes or bars or any other suitable forms. In lateral view, the arrow has a substantially triangular shape with a right front edge and a double slope rear edge, its base (first end, proximal) side arm, being generally wider than the distal end of the arm. This base allows the attachment of the hydraulic winches backwards and a little shifted downwards (Figure 1), ie beyond the attachment to the arm. Thus, the hydraulic winches 5a, 5b are found towards the rear of the arm 2 (Figure 1) or above (Figure 2). The two lateral hydraulic winches 5a, 5b are arranged offset backwards relative to the quick attachment 4 so that the center of gravity of the shovel in use, as shown in FIG. 1, does not shift too far forward. the excavator compared to a conventional boom which reduces the risk of tipping and pushes the sensitive operational limit for excavation operations. This arrangement also has the advantage of perfectly clearing the field of view of the operator since the winches and reels / unwinders are offset to the rear of a line passing through the pulleys and the pivot point of the operator. arm in the turret. In addition, it allows a greater possibility of return to the bucket, the only limit to this lift is possibly the underside of the arrow unlike the case where the reels / unwinders would have been to the front of the boom. Note that this upward limit may even be only the pulleys when said pulleys are sufficiently offset towards the front of the second (distal) end of the boom.

The rearward disposition of the hydraulic winches 5a, 5b is, however, limited by the fact that in the trailer transport position 13 as shown in FIG. 2, the total height of the jig of the assembly corresponds substantially to the height of the turret, the cabin in this case. In this example, the total height of the transported assembly is 4.5 m. The quick coupler 4 is articulated between two lockable predefined positions and the angular relationship between the boom and the arm remains constant as long as the boom is locked in one of these two positions, in this case the transport position for Figure 2. Note that since the disassembly and reassembly of the boom on the arm are easy due to the implementation of a quick coupler 4, the shovel 1 can also be transported on trailer without its fixed boom. FIG. 5 gives an example of a hydraulic diagram of the controls of a winding / unwinding hydraulic cable winch with the finish line of the hydraulic fluid marked c1 coming from a hydraulic pump of the turret 12, the return line of fluid marked c2 towards the tank of the turret 12, and the line dedicated to the release of the winch brake marked c3. A hydraulic automaton is also used to control the hose reels / unwinders. This hydraulic machine adapts the hydraulic pressure applied to the motors of the reels / unwinders and therefore adapts the tension applied to the hoses, according to the working phase, up / down / maintain and the position of the clamshell.

Preferably, the main organs of the hydraulic circuits of the automaton and the winch are arranged on the boom. The embodiment in which the cables are lateral, with at least one cable on each lateral side of the boom, and two lateral groups of hoses extended laterally to the boom between the bucket and the hydraulic hose reels / unwinders of the hose. arrow, especially when the bucket is carried by a bracket receiving at its two lateral ends the respective lateral cables, is particularly interesting. Indeed, such an arrangement makes it possible to better stabilize the bucket and limit its lateral and rotational movements since tensile forces due to the cables and the hoses are applied at distinct points and away from the vertical line passing through the center of the bucket. gravity of the bucket. In addition, if desired and that there are two hydraulic hose reels / unwinders that can be controlled also separately, it becomes possible to cause some rotation of the bucket by applying different voltages between the two side groups of hoses. Note that the hoses may be associated with reinforcing / support cables to which they are attached along their length or at certain points of their length, the hoses and their / their cables winding on the hydraulic hose reels / unwinders the arrow on the side of the arrow and the reinforcing cable / support being fixed on the bucket or the stem of the bucket on the other side. In certain embodiments, the arrow comprises one or more video cameras for viewing from above the bottom of the excavation excavation which, because of its great depth, may not be visible in direct vision by the operator of the shovel installed in its cabin, the cabin then comprising one or more display screens. Naturally, the present invention is not limited to the particular embodiments which have just been described, but extends to all variants and equivalents in accordance with its spirit. Thus, it is clear that the invention can be declined according to many other possibilities without departing from the scope defined by the description and the claims.
