Abstract
La présente invention concerne les cathodes pour des piles à combustible et les piles à combustibles, particulièrement pour des piles à combustible employant le peroxyde d'hydrogène, l'oxygène ou l'air en tant que le oxydant. Un électrocatalyseur supporté (204) ou un catalyseur sans support de noir de métal (206) des cathodes selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention est collé sur un collecteur de courant (200) par un adhésif conducteur, qui conduit des électrons intrinsèquement (202). La surface de la couche d'électrocatalyseur est recouverte par une couche conductrice d'ions d'un ionomère(210). Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention ces piles à combustible emploient les cathodes qui utilisent des alliages de ruthénium en tant que l'électrocatalyseur (206) pour des piles à combustible à peroxyde d'hydrogène.
