Description

OPENING / CLOSING DEVICE WITH DOUBLE HINGE. The present invention relates to the field of waste storage management. More specifically, the invention relates to a device for opening / closing the closure of a storage area frame comprising an opening plane, the closure being movable about a first axis of rotation between a working position in one rest position in which it covers (at least partially) the opening plane, the device comprising: a storage area frame, a closure, and a first hinge, comprising a first primary element secured to the frame of the storage area and a second primary element integral with the closure, said first primary element and second primary element having a profile (a cross section) locally concentric with said first axis of rotation. Such a device is known to those skilled in the art, especially in the field of containers (or dumpsters), docked or not, of waste. In general the closure can be manipulated so as to take at least one rest position and an active position. The closure is generally closed in the rest position (for example for storage or transport) and open in the active position (for example for loading the bucket, or tamping the contents of the bucket). In these devices, the storage area is the interior of the container, the frame comprises the lateral uprights of the container, and the opening plane is generally a horizontal plane located above the container. The closure may be unsealed, partially or completely sealed, for example a rigid cover, a tarpaulin, generally flexible (non-rigid) and guided by a system of double rails fixed on the frame or on the container, a grid, etc. However, in the context of the opening / closing of a tarpaulin, this poses problems of handling and safety because the operators must climb at the top of the containers to manipulate the tarpaulins, problems of deformation of the structures by force of openings / successive closures, and therefore sealing problems. As a result, the buckets are impractical to use and their use implies a high maintenance cost. The rigid closures, for example in the form of covers, are generally fixed to the frame by a hinge arranged on one side of the container, to open the lid on the other side, which involves positioning the container on one side or the other, so that the opening of the lid can allow the loading of the container, and the passage of tamping means for example. The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages by providing a simple solution to implement and can be adapted to any container position.

With this objective in view, the device according to the invention, also in accordance with the preamble cited above, is essentially characterized in that: the closure is movable about a second axis of rotation different from said first axis of rotation between said rest position and a second working position in which it discovers at least another part of the opening plane, the device further comprising a second hinge comprising a first secondary element secured to the frame of the storage area and a second secondary element integral with the closure, said first secondary element and second secondary element having, in the rest position, a profile (a cross section) locally concentric with said second axis of rotation. With this configuration: in the rest position, the first primary element and the second primary element are rotatable according to a second axis of rotation different from said first axis of rotation, and in the working position, the first primary element and the second element primary are not rotatable along said second axis of rotation. Preferably, one of said first primary element or second primary element has an elongated profile comprising a first primary width and a first primary maximum diagonal such that the first primary maximum diagonal is greater than the first primary width, and the other of said first primary diagonal primary element or second primary element has an at least partially rounded profile comprising a substantially circular portion of primary diameter greater than the first primary maximum diagonal, and an opening of primary width greater than the first primary width.

The mobility of the closure 10 with respect to the container 11 is ensured in particular by virtue of a first hinge 12, comprising a first primary element 14 integral with the frame 11 of the storage area and a second primary element 16 integral with the closure 10, and configured to cooperate with said first primary element 14.

According to the invention, the closure 10 is also movable about a second axis X 'of rotation, different from said first axis X of rotation, between said rest position and a second working position in which it discovers another part at least of the opening plan (Figure 2). To this end, the device further comprises a second hinge 12 'comprising a first secondary element 14' integral with the frame 11 of the storage area and a second secondary element 16 'integral with the closure 10, and configured to cooperate with said first element secondary 14 '. With this configuration, the closure 10 is completely removable, that is to say it can be very easily detached and removed from the container 11.
