The overlaying and laminating are carried out between the layer made of rubbery material and an assembly resulting from the prior superposition-lamination of the layer forming advertising element and the layer of transparent protective film. The layer made of rubber material, the layer forming advertising elements and the layer of protective film are cut, before superimposing and fixing and after superimposing and laminating, according to the printed cutting marks on the layer forming advertising element. The layer constituting the advertising element and the protective film layer are cut to the same dimensions and in that the dimensions are less than the rubber material layer. The transparent protective film is grained on surface. The layer forming an advertising element is a double-sided adhesive film having a polar reinforced glue.

Description

Method of manufacturing an advertising mat

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION The field of the invention is that of the advertising display on the ground.

The invention relates more particularly to a method of manufacturing an advertising mat.

STATE OF THE PRIOR ART Ground advertising is an advertising technique which consists in using the ground as advertising space. Many ground advertising media are currently used. Ground advertising media can be divided into two groups: the media intended to be integrated into the ground and the media intended to be placed on the ground. These supports can be evolving or non-evolving. The evolutionary term means that the advertising message can be removed from the medium and changed by another message. Thus, for example, fixed and evolutive advertising panels can be mentioned as described in the patent application WO 1994/009469; the movable and evolutive carpets described in US Pat. No. 6,250,001 and patent applications WO 2004/056259 and WO 2007/033148; advertising stickers. Patent application WO 1994/009469 describes an advertising medium intended to be integrated in a cavity formed in the ground. This advertising medium comprises a first support layer intended to be secured to the bottom of the cavity. On this first layer of support is superimposed an element carrying the advertising message. On the advertising element is superimposed a second layer of support having an opening leaving the advertising message visible from above. This second support layer is secured by its upper face to a transparent protective layer. The two support layers are constituted by a magnetic material which makes it possible to reversibly maintain the advertising element in the structure.

It is understood that such a support has the advantage of easily allowing the change of the advertising element. However, it has the disadvantage of being a fixed support. US Pat. No. 6,250,001 describes an advertising mat having a cavity whose contours are delimited by a fiber structure. In this cavity, are superimposed, starting from the bottom of the cavity to the surface: - a lower support layer having an opening in which is embedded a flexible layer; an upper support layer of the same dimensions as the lower layer and having the same opening, this opening being intended to receive an element presenting the advertising message; a transparent layer. The two support layers are joined together in a reversible manner and have a strong securing portion and a weak securing portion so that the weak fastening portions can be easily detached to allow the element to be changed. advertising. Such an advertising mat has a first advantage which is that of being able to be moved as well as the second advantage which is that of being able to change the advertising element relatively easily. However, the disadvantages of such a carpet reside in the multitude of layers of different materials involved in its manufacture and the complexity of its manufacture, which makes its production cost high.

The patent application WO 2004/056259 describes an advertising mat consisting of a non-slip material, having a central section, intended to be exposed to the intensive passage of pedestrians, with both sides having a section capable of receiving reversible an item carrying an advertising message. The advertising element is covered, on its visible upper side, by a transparent and non-slip vinile laminate. The underside of the advertising element is provided with reversible securing means. Such an advertising mat has a first advantage which is that of being able to be moved and a second advantage which is that of being able to change the advertising element easily. However, the use of such a carpet requires a good determination of pedestrian traffic routes. It can not be placed randomly. Moreover, since the central section is not intended to receive advertising messages, it represents a loss of the ability to exploit the space.

Patent application WO 2007/033148 describes an advertising mat having a cavity for receiving an element carrying an advertising message. The advertising element is covered, on its upper face legible, by a transparent laminate. The advertising element can be secured or not to the bottom of the cavity.

Such an advertising mat has a first advantage which is that of being able to be moved and a second advantage which is that of being able to change the advertising element easily. This carpet, like all carpets having a cavity for reversibly receiving an advertising element, involves the prior cleaning of the cavity before the installation of the advertising element and the constraints associated with the installation and the change of the advertising element. . There are also advertising mats that have a rubber base, covered with synthetic fibers on which is printed the advertising message.

Such a carpet does not have the disadvantages of carpet having a cavity, while having the advantage of being moved. However, the manufacture of such carpets is expensive, because it involves several successive steps in the printing step: a vaporization step which allows the fixing of dyes; a washing step to remove the excess of unbound dyes; a drying step. Advertising stickers meanwhile have a number of disadvantages compared to advertising mats: they are not intended to be moved; they require the cleaning of the bonding area before laying; their removal once glued can be laborious.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a movable and non-scalable advertising mat, of simple and inexpensive industrial manufacture. The method according to the invention involves the superposition of three layers of material, followed by their joining by cold lamination. The first layer is made of rubbery material. The second layer is the advertising element and carries the advertising message intended to be read. The third layer is a transparent film for protecting said advertising message. According to a first embodiment, the layer of rubber material, the layer constituting the advertising element and the protective film layer are superimposed in a single superposition step and secured during a single lamination step. According to a second embodiment, the layer constituting the advertising element and the protective film layer are superimposed during a first superposition step and secured during a first lamination step. An assembly is obtained which is then superimposed on the layer of rubbery material during a second superposition step. The assembly and the layer of rubber material are then secured during a second lamination step.

Preferably, the first lamination step is carried out under cold conditions at a pressure of 3 bars, the second lamination stage is carried out under cold conditions at a pressure of 4 bars. According to one embodiment, the layer of rubbery material, the layer constituting the advertising element and the protective film have the same dimensions. According to another embodiment, only the layer constituting the advertising element and the protective film have the same dimensions. In addition, their dimensions are smaller than the dimensions of the layer made of rubbery material. According to a first preferred embodiment, the layer of rubbery material has a thickness of between 1500 and 2000 μm, and most preferably, a thickness of 1700 μm; the layer constituting the advertising element has a thickness of between 80 and 120 μm, and most preferably a thickness of 100 μm, and the protective film has a thickness of between 80 and 120 μm, and most preferably , a thickness of 100 hum. The advertising mat obtained according to this embodiment is particularly adapted to a weak passage of the public. According to a second preferred embodiment, the layer of rubbery material has a thickness of between 1500 and 2000 μm, and most preferably, a thickness of 1700 μm; the layer constituting the advertising element has a thickness of between 80 and 120 μm, and most preferably, a thickness of 100 μm, and the protective film has a thickness of between 150 and 190 μm, and most preferably , a thickness of 170 m. The advertising mat obtained according to this embodiment is then more suitable for an intensive passage of the public. The layer of rubbery material has a lower face and an upper face, the lower face is intended to be in contact with the ground and is non-slip, the upper face is intended to be in contact with the layer constituting the advertising element.

According to one embodiment, the rubbery material is of PVC, nitrile or latex type. The layer constituting the advertising element has a lower face and an upper face. The lower face is intended to be in contact with the upper face of the layer of rubber material. The upper side is printed with the advertisement intended to be read by pedestrians. Once printed, the upper side is intended to be covered by a transparent protective film. According to a preferred embodiment, the advertising element is a single or double-sided adhesive film composed of a PVC-type film, coated on its upper surface or on both sides with an apolar reinforced adhesive. After printing, the face or faces coated with glue may be protected by a silicone paper until they are used. The transparent protective film has an upper face and a lower face, the lower face comes into contact with the adhesive printed side of the layer forming the advertising element, the upper face is intended to be trampled by pedestrians. The protective film may advantageously be PVC with a non-slip top face. Advantageously, the upper face may also be grained on the surface. The underside of the protective film may also be coated with glue and protected by a silicone paper. According to one embodiment, the three layers constituting the advertising mat are cut before being superimposed. According to another embodiment, the three layers constituting the advertising mat are cut after being superimposed and secured by lamination. The manufacturing method according to the invention, as compared with the methods of manufacturing the printed synthetic face mats of the prior art, does not involve a treatment step (vaporization, washing, drying) after printing the advertising message. The implementation of the manufacturing method according to the invention is therefore simpler and less expensive than the processes for manufacturing movable and non-evolving advertising mats of the prior art. The advertising mats obtained according to a method of the invention therefore comprises a rubbery base, on which rests a layer constituting the advertising element, which is covered with a transparent protective film. Such carpets are movable at leisure and because they are very inexpensive, they can also be easily replaced at leisure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF AN EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION A manufacturing method according to the invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the figure. A layer of PVC (1) black, of length (L), width (1) and thickness (e) is cut by hand. Measurements are made with an aluminum ruler, then the cutting is done with a cutter.

The maximum length (L) of the PVC layer (1) is 5000 mm, its width (1) of 1000 mm and its thickness (e) is 1700 hum. The PVC used has a density of 3Kg / m2. It has a smooth upper face (11) and a lower face (12) which is non-slip. It is packaged in the form of a roll 20 ml long and with a width of 1030 mm. The advertisement intended to be read by the customer is printed on a double-sided adhesive film with apolar glue (2). The adhesive film is a glossy opaque monomeric PVC film with a thickness of 100 μm. It is coated on each of these faces with 45g / m2 colorless glue. The upper face (21) of the adhesive film is intended to be printed, the lower face (22) is protected with silicone paper. The adhesive film is packaged in the form of a roll 45 ml long and with a width of 1370 mm. The print is made on the unprotected side of the film. The print on the film is digital, in black / white or in color.

The printed advertising message may be for example a logo, an image, the name of a product to sell. During the printing of the advertisement, cut marks, defining a length format (L), width (1) are also printed on the upper face (21) of the adhesive film. These marks will be used for the subsequent cutting of the material. The printed side of the adhesive film (2) is then brought into contact with the underside (32) of a transparent protective film (3). The adhesive film and the protective film are then laminated and then cut manually according to the printed cutting marks. The transparent protective film is a monomeric PVC film with a matte appearance having a thickness of 100 hum or 170 hum and packaged in the form of a roll of length 30 ml and with a width of 1300 mm. The upper face (31) of said film is grained on the surface and is slip-resistant. The underside (32) is coated with a solvent-based adhesive reinforced 45g / m2. The underside (32) coated with adhesive is protected by a silicone paper before use. This paper liner is previously removed when the printed side of the adhesive film is to be brought into contact with the underside of a transparent protective film. The lamination of the adhesive film and the transparent protective film is carried out under cold conditions, at a pressure of 3 bars. The cutting of the product resulting from this lamination is carried out as described above. Thus, after the first stages of superposition, lamination and cutting, there is obtained an adhesive film assembly (2) / transparent film (3). The upper face of the transparent film (3) constitutes the upper face of the assembly. The underside of the adhesive film (2) is the underside of the assembly. The silicone paper protecting the underside of the adhesive film (2) and thus the underside of the assembly is removed. The deprotected underside is then brought into contact with the smooth upper face of the layer of rubbery material.

The assembly and the layer of rubber material are cold-rolled at a pressure of 4 bars to form an advertising mat (4) whose upper face corresponds to the upper face (31) of the protective film layer (3) and whose lower face corresponds to the lower face (12) of the layer of rubber material (1). 15 20 25 30
