The present invention is in the paramedical field and more particularly relates to a motorized device for assisting in patient decubitus change. In the context of a prolonged bed rest of a patient, it is necessary to change it regularly position, on the one hand to perform the toilet but also to prevent the risk of occurrence of eschar. This change of decubitus is done manually by the staff in charge of the patients, carer or nurse.
This tedious task can become complicated during a low mobility of the bedridden person, a large body mass or if the patient must be handled with care, following hospitalization for example. This is why different motorized devices have been devised to help patient decubitus change. An example of such a device is described in document FR 2 854 321. Of complex design, this device, supposed to adapt to any type of bed, requires changing the head and the footboard, tedious editing operation .
In addition, at each change of position, it is necessary to secure a motorized apron ensuring the turning of the patient. This apron is inflatable and rests directly on the mattress of the bed, under the patient. A flap covers the patient at the moment of the change of position, so as to surround him. On both sides of the patient, airbags hold the body sideways. These cushions are integral with a motorized barrier, provided for rotation in rotation about the longitudinal axis of the bed. Not bringing complete satisfaction, it has been imagined to simplify such a device and its use. The invention therefore aims to overcome the disadvantages of the state of the art by providing a motorized device for assisting the change of decubitus of a bedridden patient. Such a device comprises a structure supporting means for turning said patient wrapped in sheets of a bed by longitudinal rotation under the action of driving means, characterized in that said reversing means comprise means for blocking the sheets. in order to swab the patient. An advantage of the invention lies in keeping the patient through the enveloping sheets, already arranged on the bed and easy to handle. In addition, the fabric of the sheets allows a tightening adjustable in tension of the patient, without trauma, with an optimal maintenance. Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description of non-limiting embodiments of the invention, with reference to the appended figure showing in perspective the device according to the invention. The present invention therefore relates to a motorized device 1 for assisting in the change of decubitus of a bedridden patient. Such a device comprises a structure 2 shaped to adapt to any type of bed (not shown). To do this, the structure 2 has a general shape in C, a base 3 extends to the ground secured to vertical uprights 4 supporting turning means 5 of said patient. Said base 3 may advantageously include feet, two on the example shown in the drawings, being in the form of longitudinal members 6 slipping under the bed. As can be seen in the figure, each spar 6 receives at one end the lower part of an upright 4 while the opposite end 7 remains free. The longitudinal members 6 extend under the turning means 5 so as to counter the weight of a patient during his turnaround, such as a counterweight. The uprights 4 are provided telescopic so as to adapt the height of the turning means 4 according to the height of the bed. Motorized or manual means, particularly in the form of a jack, make it possible to raise or lower the upper part of the structure 2, in particular the turning means 5.
As such, the latter are thus supported by said structure 2. According to the preferred embodiment shown in the drawings, an arm 8 extends above the bed from the upper part of each upright 4 to an end 9 receiving the turning means 5. These arms 8 extend in a plane parallel to the mattress of the bed, therefore parallel to the ground and to said base 3. The ends 9 of the arms 8 are therefore arranged opposite one of the the other and receive the turning means 5 in rotation along an axis A-A '. This axis A-A 'extends longitudinally with respect to the bed, according to the length of the patient from his head to his feet, or vice versa. The rotation of the turning means 5 takes place under the action of drive means 10. These means can be the same as those used for the motorization of the telescopic posts 4. As can be seen in the figure, the actuation can be carried out by a return in the form of a belt 11 from the drive means 10 at an amount 4 to the end 9 of the arm.
An advantage of the invention lies in the fact that the patient is usually wrapped in a top sheet and a bottom sheet. The present device 1 uses the sheets to swab the patient and turn him up to a position of 180 °. In this case, the invention makes it possible to move from a dorsal to a ventral bed position, or vice versa, as well as all the intermediate positions. To do this, said turning means 5 comprise sheet locking means so as to swab said patient.
More particularly, the invention blocks in pairs each of the side edges of the sheets from above and below. This is why said locking means can advantageously be located on either side of the patient so as to block the sheets.
According to the preferred embodiment, said locking means comprise at least one roller 12 rotated relative to said turning means 5 so as to lock at least one sheet by winding. As previously announced, a roll 12 can block two sheets together. To do this, the side edge of a sheet is passed from one side of said roll 12 and then wrapped around the latter. A roller 12 is therefore used for gripping and maintaining an edge of at least one sheet. Note that the rotation of said roller 12 may be free or motorized. It can also be provided lockable by an abutment engaged automatically or manually. In addition, the locking means are provided so as to ensure tension of the (or) sheet (s). This tension can be obtained by rotation of one or more rollers 12. Advantageously, as shown in the figure, the maintenance of the tension of the sheets is ensured through the translation of the locking means. More particularly, they are movably mounted in translation so as to deviate or move closer. More particularly, the ends of a roll 12 can be mounted in translation longitudinally with respect to said turning means. According to the preferred embodiment, each roller 12 moves away from or closer to one another so as to stretch the sheets once the patient is wrapped in, in the manner of a bundle or a hammock. It will be noted that the turning means 5 comprise at least one plate 12 rotatably mounted along the axis A-A 'on which the locking means are mounted in rotation and in translation. More particularly, two plates 12 are rotated at the end 9 of each arm 8. At this point, an orifice 14 is provided at the axis of rotation AA 'for the passage of the catheters, cables, sheaths, probes or the like, avoiding their entanglement when the patient is turned over. The present invention, through its motorized device 1 to help the patient bed position change, offers an alternative easy to use and adaptable to any type of bed. Of course, the invention is not limited to the examples illustrated and described above which may have variants and modifications without departing from the scope of the invention.
