A first housing (14) having a parallel-faced window (16) made of a transparent material; means (30) for connecting said first housing (14) with the wall of said cabin (1) so that said window (16) is facing said location (12) in which the person (P) is fit, • a camera (20) with an objective (21), • means (24) for fixing said camera (20) in said first housing (14) so that the objective (21) is facing said window (16) and that its optical axis (22) is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the faces of said window (16), A second housing (40), and control means (41) for at least said camera (20) mounted in cooperation with said second housing, characterized in that the means (30) for connecting said first housing (14) with the wall of said cabin (10) comprises: • means (50) for mounting said first housing (14) rotated relative to the wall of the car such that said optical axis (22) is adapted to scan an angle (a) of a given amplitude, and • means (60) for controlling the rotation (R) said first housing (14) so as to position said optical axis (22) in a desired direction contained in said angle (a).

Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises a light source (70) adapted to emit a light beam (74), said source being fixed in said first housing (14) so that the beam (71) for emitting the light beam is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the faces of said window (16) and that this light beam (74) is able to emerge from said housing (14) through said transparent window.

3. Device according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that said first housing (14) is rotatably mounted about an axis (51).

4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the axis of rotation (51) of the first housing is substantially parallel to the plane of the faces of the transparent window (16).

5. Device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it further comprises a flap (72) surrounding said window (16) by connecting the edge of said window to the wall of said cabin of so as to achieve a closed protective volume (74) in which is rotatable said first housing (14).

Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the means (60) for controlling the rotation of the first housing (14) so as to position said optical axis (22) in a desired direction contained in said angle (a) comprises at least: • a display of the image given by the camera, • means for delivering an adjustment signal according to the position of the image given by the camera on said display, • motor means, • means for coupling said motor means with said first housing (14) so as to drive it in rotation, and • supply means for said motor means in operation 30 of said adjustment signal.

7. Device according to claim 6, characterized in that said means for coupling said motor means with said first housing (14) are constituted by at least one of the following means: gear system, rack, cylinder.

Device according to one of claims 6 and 7, characterized in that the means for delivering an adjustment signal according to the position of the image given by the camera on said display are constituted by at least one of the following: trac-ball, joystick, potentiometer, touch screen, mouse, keyboard, touch pad.

9. Device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that it further comprises a retractable seat (80) mounted in association with the wall portion of said cabin defining said location (12).

10. Device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized by said location (12) in which is fit to place the person (P), is arranged to be accessible by a disabled person in a wheelchair.
