Abstract
Description
1 La présente invention concerne une résistance et sa connectique pourThe present invention relates to a resistor and its connectors for
Les dessins annexés illustrent l'invention : La figure 1 représente la résistance non assemblée. sublimate the polystyrene insulation used in the walls of the building to make galleries for the passage of electrical or hydraulic ducts. Resistors and their connectivity that is traditionally found in commerce, are affected by very limited life, due to thermal, mechanical and chemical stresses they suffer. The resistance as well as its connections make it possible to remedy this disadvantage. The resistance comprises, in fact, according to a first characteristic a heating cartridge housed in a brass body, capered by a ceramic. The power supply of this resistance is made by means of two stainless steel terminals, integral with it. Because of the various pulls and twists, the connector is composed of springs capable of solving these mechanical stresses, while transmitting the current. Various sheaths have been carefully selected to control the chemical pollutants contained in polystyrene compounds; they isolate the springs constituting the connection of the heat as well as the electric current, very low voltage. The manipulation of this resistance is done through its grip, important element of protection against burns that can be inflicted on the user. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: Figure 1 shows the unassembled resistor.
Figure 2 shows, in section, the assembled resistance. FIG. 3 shows the connection of this resistance, unassembled, FIG. 4 represents the resistance and its assembled connection, All the planes are at scale 1. With reference to these drawings, the resistor comprises a heated cartridge (1) housed in a brass body (2). The terminals (3) provide the electrical connection of the heating cartridge (1) through the ceramic (4). The thermal cement (5) secures this assembly. The connector is composed of springs (6) whose internal diameter allows to lodge on the terminals (3) slightly in strength. These same springs (6) receive the lugs (7) previously crimped on the son (8) component of the power cable (9). So that the pulls exerted on the connector can not slide the son (8) in their power cable (9), a ring (10) must be crimped. The protective springs (11) protect the wires (8) from various twists and impacts. Electrical insulation is provided through the sheath 2905820 2 fiberglass (12) at the limit of 4 centimeters of resistance to prevent it from being consumed. This electrical insulation is reinforced by the Teflon sheath (13) which also has a mechanical role due to its non-porosity. Thermal insulation is provided by the silica sheath (14) folded on itself to avoid fraying. It covers all the connectors to the ceramic (4) 5 of the resistance. All of these three sheaths are trapped in the heat-shrinkable sheath (15) after having shrunk it. A grip (16) silicone covers this heat-shrinkable sheath (15). The resistance according to the invention is particularly intended to sublimate the polystyrene serving as insulation in the building partitions, in order to make galleries for the passage of electrical or hydraulic ducts.
