Description

-1

  CENTRIFUGAL EFFECT MOTOR.

The device according to the invention relates to a centrifugal effect heat engine which is intended to produce

  work by consuming heat.

The device according to the invention uses a more advantageous method than others with regard to the expenditure of thermal energy which is required to operate and to

the same effect.

The device according to the invention is characterized in that it consists of an enclosure divided into two compartments by a partition which is concentric with the enclosure, each of the two compartments being subdivided into sectors by partitions, the assembly of these elements allowing the circulation of a fluid on either side of the partition, from one compartment to the other compartment by at least one space situated on the periphery of the partition or crossing the peripheral part of said partition, l pivoting enclosure, said fluid entering the enclosure through an orifice concentric to the separation then undergoing compression by centrifugal force then absorbing a quantity of heat and finally emerging from the enclosure through a second orifice concentric to the separation, said fluid being intended, by its relaxation, to drive said enclosure in its

rotational movement.

Advantageously, at least one heat source is placed inside the enclosure in the zone where the

  fluid pressure is strongest.

Advantageously, the partitions of the second compartment are shorter than those of the first compartment, so that the fluid can increase its speed of rotation by

approaching the axis of rotation.

Advantageously, a turbine secured to the enclosure

is placed on the fluid outlet.

Advantageously, a compressor is placed on the orifice

fluid inlet.

Advantageously, a motor drives the enclosure in its rotational movement, said motor having the function of

start this movement.

-2 The invention will be better understood and others

characteristics will appear on reading the description

which will follow made with reference to the appended drawings and given by way of illustrative and nonlimiting example in which we show: In FIG. 1, according to a schematic sectional view perpendicular to the axis of rotation, the device according to the invention, In Figure 2, the device is shown in a schematic view in section along the length of the shaft, In Figure 3, the device is shown in a view

oblique and three-dimensional.

The description will be made without distinction from

these three figures.

A circular enclosure is divided into two compartments 5.1 and 5.2 by a partition 6 which is concentric with the enclosure 1 and which has a space 7 at its periphery so that a fluid can circulate through this space of a first compartment 5.1 to the other compartment 5.2, said fluid entering through an orifice 3 of the enclosure 1 and

emerging through a second orifice 4 of the enclosure 1.

The two compartments are divided into sectors 11 by partitions 2. 1 and 2.2. The separations 2.1 of the compartment 5.1 make it possible to entrain the fluid with the enclosure so that the fluid undergoes compression

growing away from the tree 14.

The separations 2.2 allow in the second compartment 5.2 to recover part of the kinetic energy of rotation that the fluid has in the enclosure 1 while said fluid approaches the axis of rotation or

from the tree 14.

The partitions 2.2 are shorter than the partitions 2.1, which leaves a free space close to the shaft 14 in the compartment 5.2 and allows the fluid to conserve an amount of kinetic energy of rotation, which has the effect of increasing the speed of rotation of said fluid in a vortex zone 13 and all the more so as

  said fluid approaches shaft 14.

The swirling zone 13 makes it possible to save a distributor for a turbine 9 integral with the enclosure

1 and positioned on the orifice 4 of said enclosure.

A quantity of heat from an electrical resistance 8 and by Joule effect or from the combustion of a fuel or any other process is transferred to the fluid in the zone where its pressure is the highest, at

  inside or near space 7.

The enclosure 1 pivots, driven by a motor 12 which launches the device and accelerates until it reaches a speed which makes it possible to generate a sufficient pressure difference between the inlet 3 and the outlet 4 of the enclosure, thanks to the contribution of the hot source, and so that the turbine 9 produces sufficient mechanical energy so that the motor 12 is no longer necessary to maintain the movement of

rotation of the device.

A blower or compressor 10 is positioned on

the orifice 3 of the enclosure 1, integral with said enclosure.

The modifications that may be made by a person skilled in the art to the above invention which, without altering the original provisions, would simply be technical equivalents, also fall within the scope of the

present invention.
