Abstract

The disposable dress preserver (P), to absorb perspiration at the armpits, has a large oval center section (3) along the longitudinal line with flanking sections (4) along the arm and chest. DESCRIPTION

  The present invention relates to a disposable absorbent pad for protecting sleeveless and sleeveless clothing from perspiration in the armpits of women and men. Our modern life demands comfort and aesthetics with increasingly strict hygiene standards to be observed. In particular, perspiration and its pungent odor disturb and

  may be seen as signs of poor hygiene.

  The cosmetic and paramedical market then makes available to the user

  a wide range of products to combat the effects of perspiration.

  also on the inside of the garment, one along the arm and the other along the chest.

  As shown in Figure 3, the armpit guard is made up of several layers.

  Over its entire surface, this device comprises an upper layer (6) permeable to perspiration, a lower layer (8) impermeable to perspiration and a layer

  absorbent central (7), placed between the upper layer and the lower layer.

  The different layers fixed together form an integral structure.

  The upper layer (6) intended to come into contact with the skin is permeable to moisture; it is made up of a plastic, micro-alveolar veil with open cells

  allowing perspiration to enter and stay in the central area.

  The central layer (7) has a slightly smaller surface to allow the

  respective edges of the upper (6) and lower (8) layers to adhere to each other.

  This central layer is made of a soft, flexible, resistant material, non-irritating and absorbent; By way of nonlimiting example, mention may be made of cellulose, an absorbent substance which gels on contact with moisture, or of other elements, in possible combinations. .. which have proven themselves in the field of absorption, both for baby diapers and for panty liners or periodical protections. This central layer (7) can be impregnated with a hypoallergenic deodorant or an active antibacterial, perfuming or cooling agent (or a combination of

  several of these elements) which limits odors.

  This central layer is fixed to the upper layer (6) by small dots and bonding lines (9) distributed harmoniously over the entire surface of the device and along

  fold lines on each side of the bellows.

  It can be fixed to the lower layer (8) by partial gluing in lines with

  small gluing lines delimiting the fold lines of each bellows (5).

  As an alternative, at the level of the armpit hollow, corresponding to the oval central part (3), the upper (6) and central (7) layers may have a slightly curved shape - 5 on the skin side to optimize the contact with the armpit

  and absorption of perspiration.

  The lower layer (8) consists of a thin plastic film, perforated with tiny holes, this film is covered on the outside with a flexible plastic film, waterproof to prevent any leakage to the outside on the garment side. As shown in Figure 4, the outer surface of this plastic film is covered in whole or in part, self-adhesive fixing means, invisible and sensitive to pressure. As with the slip-protectors or the periodical protections, these adhesive fasteners allow a secure hold, while being easily peeled off without

risk damaging the garment.

  By way of nonlimiting example, bonding by strips (11) can be carried out crosswise in the longitudinal direction (1) and along the transverse axis (2), which can follow any seams of the underarm of the garment. This fixing can be completed by self-adhesive points (12) distributed over the entire remaining surface including on the respective surface of each bellows for optimal fixing to the garment without altering the

  flexibility or ease of the user.

  The entire outer surface of the lower layer (8) is covered with a detachable protective sheet (13) which also covers the entire surface of each bellows in order to prevent the adhesives from drying and adhering to each other or to a other surface before use. These bellows are folded over on one of their sides before using the armpit guard. Depending on its dimensions, this plasticized protective sheet can also serve as

  width of 14cm; each tab will constitute a square of 7cm side.

  Depending on the size, the size of the garment, the armpit protector will be more or less

  immediate contact with the skin according to the postures and movements of the person.

  According to several variants, the thickness of the central layer (7) (millimeter but having a high absorption capacity) can vary depending on the abundance of perspiration. A greater thickness may relate more to the swollen central part
