Abstract

The trolley is in the shape of a platform supported on wheels, the platform upper surface delimiting two cages (14,16). One cage has fixed walls and the other cage has three fixed walls and a fourth partially open wall delimited by a short wall portion (24). Claims

CLAIMS 1. Trolley (10) offering stacking positions for bases of at least two stacks of containers (30) characterized in that it comprises separation means which can be used to modify the separation of the bases from the container (30) the lowest in each stack to accommodate the different sizes of the stacking surfaces of the container stacks (30).

6. Trolley according to claim 5, wherein the separation means comprise a movable part (26) mounted to move relative to the rest of the trolley (10) and carrying at least one engagement element, said carried element moving in same time as the moving part.

7. Trolley according to claim 6, wherein the movable part (26) is mounted so as to be able to pivot while moving.

8. Trolley according to claim 6 or 7, wherein the movable part (26) has a retracted position in which an engagement element is placed in the area of an edge of the trolley (10) and an extended position in which a engagement element is placed outside said edge.

9. Trolley according to any one of claims 6 to 8, wherein the moving part (26) carries at least two engagement elements, each exposed to engage a container (30) only in one position of the moving part.

Trolley according to one of claims 1 to 9, in which the trolley (10) provides a first stacking position in which the base of the lowest container (30) of the corresponding stack is inside the carriage (10) and a second stacking position in which the base of the lowest container (30) of another corresponding stack is either inside the carriage (10) or at least partially outside, depending on the state of the separation means.

11. Container and trolley system characterized in that it comprises at least one trolley (10) according to one of claims 1 to 10, and a plurality of containers (30) for stacking on the trolley (10) and comprising a first and a second arrangement in which they can be stacked to form stacks having respective small and large overall surfaces, whereby the separation means can be used to increase the separation of the bases of the lowest containers (30) when the overall surface of at least one of the batteries is enlarged.

12. Container and trolley system according to claim 11, in which the containers (30) are provided with covers (34) attached with open and closed positions which give the two sizes of overall dimensions.

13. Container and cart system according to claim 12, wherein the lids (34) of the containers (30) hang from the sides of the containers when open.
