Abstract

Novel basket for storing and turning bottles of champagne has transverse reinforcing bars connected to sides by T-shaped couplings. Basket (1) for storing and turning bottles of champagne, designed to hold up to 500 bottles and turning them during the fermentation process, has a base (8), a rear wall (13) and side walls (5, 5'), open top and front doors and a transverse reinforcing bar (2). The bar is fastened by T-shaped couplings on its ends engaging with matching slots in the upper edges of opposite side walls. The present invention relates to the field of supports for champagne bottles.

 The present invention relates more particularly to a basket, in particular suitable for a stirring device, having a structure of parallelepiped shape for the storage of bottles, said basket having at least a bottom, a rear face and side walls, as well as a upper door and a front door, both removable and a removable transverse reinforcement bar comprising fixing means being further provided between said side walls.

 The prior art already knows devices for the support of bottles and more precisely devices comprising means for fixing the constituent elements.

 The basket (1) according to the invention, illustrated in FIG. 1, is a basket of parallelepiped shape. Said basket (1) has at least one bottom (8), a rear face (13) and side walls (5) and (5 ′), as well as an upper door (14) and a front door (15), both removable, a transverse reinforcing bar (2), also removable and comprising fixing means being further provided between said side walls (5) and (5 ').

 This basket (1) has the capacity to hold approximately 500 bottles of champagne. It can be placed in a stirrer and thus undergo rotation operations for the production of champagne.

 The basket (1) has pads (18,18 ') with rounded ends, formed at the ends of the lateral faces (5) and (5'), under the bottom (8), as well as under the rear wall (13), to facilitate handling of the basket.

 The basket (1) is illustrated in FIG. 1 resting on its rear face (13). It can also be positioned resting on its bottom (8). The rounded ends facilitate the transition from one state to another.

 Said removable upper door (14) can be manipulated without moving the transverse reinforcing bar (2).

 In a first variant of the upper door (14), illustrated in FIG. 13, the door (14) is in one piece and the hooks (19) are fixed.

 In a second variant of the upper door (14) illustrated in FIGS. 14 and 15, the position of the hooks (19) can be adjusted along the door jambs by sliding along the arrow F in a slot (20) and locking by a nut butterfly (21).

 In this variant, said upper door (14) consists of two independent parts each having two hooks (19).

 The two parts of said upper door (14) are separated by two retaining tabs to prevent said parts from withdrawing forward.

 Once the constituent parts of the upper door (14) positioned, the door has in the same way four hooks (19), oriented and located identically to the first variant.

Said front door (15) has four identical hooks (22), all oriented downwards and situated approximately 1/5 and 4/5 respectively on each of the opposite parallel lateral sides of said front door (15). These hooks (22) cooperate on each side in two inclined slots (17), formed respectively at about 1/5 and 4/5 on each of the upper and internal faces of the two opposite parallel side walls (5) and (5 ' ).

 Said slots (17) are inclined by about plus at least 300 relative to the vertical or horizontal direction.
