11. Monitoring method according to one of claims 1 to 10, wherein the connection between the monitored satellite stations and the centralized station is carried out via a public network.

12. Monitoring method according to one of the preceding claims, in which the connection between the centralized station and each of the stations

satellites can be in substantially continuous mode or in time-sharing mode.

13. Monitoring method according to one of the preceding claims, in which a satellite storage module suitable for local connection to the subscriber's satellite station is made available to said subscriber.

14. Monitoring method according to one of the preceding claims, in which the subscribers benefit from an operational condition maintenance service (MCO).

15. Monitoring method according to one of the preceding claims, in which the data of each of the subscribers is managed so as to ensure security and confidentiality.
