Abstract

The banner consists of a supporting strip (1) of a natural or synthetic fabric with eyelets (3) in a reinforced edge (2) and a series of transparent pockets (4) attached to one or both sides to receive rectangles of paper or synthetic material carrying letters, numbers or symbols which make up a message. The pockets can be separate and attached to the supporting strip individually by sewing, sticking, welding or stapling, or they can be made from transparent panels with seams (5) separating one pocket from another. Each pocket has an opening (6) in its top or other edge, and holes (7) at the bottom to let out any moisture due to climatic conditions or condensation.

Description

The present invention is intended for the presentation of messages

  advertising or information aimed at a wide audience. According to the state of the prior art, short messages are presented, in large letters generally painted or stuck on a flexible support. This system, most often fixed above above communication routes or against building facades, is carried out in a workshop specializing in painted advertising. It therefore appears to be limited to a single, specific use, and corresponds to the need for presentation

  of a message linked to a specific action or demonstration.

  A new action or demonstration then involves the creation of a new device of this type, carrying a renewed message

in painted or pasted letters.

  The description of the invention below underlines the innovative character which resides in the fact that it allows a non-professional who has it to do it himself in a few minutes and for an extremely low cost price. presentation of a personalized punctual message which he can by

  thereafter delete and replace at will.

  According to the features of the invention, a banner (1) serves as a general support. According to the possible embodiments, this variable shape banner can be made either of fabric

  natural or synthetic material.

  The dimensions of this banner depend on the consistency of the message to be presented and the visibility distance sought. In order to prevent tears which could be caused by tensile forces, the banner receives on its periphery a reinforcement (2) in the form of a fold constituting a hem, or else of an added reinforcement, sewn, glued, thermo glued, thermo-welded or stapled. Variable number of eyelets (3) and

  arranged on the reinforcement are intended for its attachment.

  On one or two sides of the banner, and on one or more superimposed rows, pockets (4) of variable and juxtaposed dimensions, made of transparent plastic material, are made integral with the material of the banner by sewing, gluing, heat-bonding, thermo-welding or stapling. According to the possible embodiments of the invention, the juxtaposed transparent sleeves can either be shaped separately and each made individually secured to the

  constituent material of the banner by one of the above processes

  described, or globally produced by the use of strips of transparent material in one piece, the seams, areas (5) of bonding, heat bonding, heat welding or stapling on the banner constitute regular intervals the

  peripheral delimitation of each of the transparent pockets.

  Each of the transparent pockets, open either at its upper part (6) or at its lower part or even laterally according to possible embodiments, is intended to receive a paper or synthetic support printed with an alphabetical letter, a number or of a sign which allow by their juxtaposition and their ordering to constitute a visible message from a distance.   be fitted with a closing device.

  The base of each of the transparent pockets is perforated with one or more small orifices (7) which allow the evacuation of condensation or meteoric water which therein.

  The invention is particularly intended for the presentation of messages, permanently or temporarily fixed above all communication routes, parking areas, on storefronts, on the facades of buildings, performance halls or sports, road works, etc. It can be made to the custom dimensions desired by the user as a function of the consistency of the messages that he intends to present.   The detailed description of a possible embodiment described below and illustrated by the appended drawing (figure 1/1) shows that a strip of synthetic fabric coated with polyvinyl chloride on both sides constitutes a banner ( 1) which serves as

general support for the device.

  On its periphery this banner receives a reinforcement (2) which prevents tears which could be caused by the tensile forces. This reinforcement, in the present example, is produced by a folding of the material of the banner which constitutes a hem immobilized by heat welding over the entire periphery. The banner also receives on its periphery a number of eyelets (3) set in the double thickness of its constituent material and the hem. These eyelets will allow by the

  In order to allow access to the inside of the pockets, their upper part (6) is not heat-sealed and therefore presents

  an opening over the entire width of each of them.

  The lower part of each pocket is pierced with two small holes (7) which allow the drainage of water

meteoric and condensation.

  These pockets are each intended for the insertion of a sheet of paper or synthetic material on which appears the reproduction of a bold character (alphabet letter, number or sign). The ordered juxtaposition of these characters inside

  pockets allow you to create personalized messages.

  In the example of the appended drawing (Figure 1/1), the pockets allow each to receive a sheet of paper in standard format (A4) 210mnm. x 297mm. on which a bold character with a height and width very slightly less than these dimensions will have been economically reproduced using a desktop photocopier, from a complete set of models

  reproducible at will provided with the invention.

  1) Device intended for the presentation of interchangeable personalized messages, characterized in that it comprises a banner (1) serving as general support on which are secured one or more superimposed rows of pockets (4) juxtaposed made of transparent material, on the inside which can be inserted paper or synthetic supports on which appear reproductions of alphabetic letters, numbers or signs whose ordering   allows to constitute said messages.   o10 2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the banner (1) of variable shape serving as general support is   made either from natural fabric or synthetic materials.   3) Device according to claim 2 characterized in that the banner (1) serving as general support comprises on its periphery an added reinforcement or a fold (2) constituting a   hem, intended to prevent tearing.   4) Device according to any one of claims   previous, characterized in that the banner serving as general support has on its periphery a variable number of eyelets   (3) fixing intended for its attachment.   ) Device according to any one of the claims   previous characterized in that the pockets are shaped separately in a transparent plastic material and assembled individually by stitching, by gluing, by heat bonding, by heat welding or even by stapling, on one or two sides   of the banner serving as general support.   6) Device according to any one of claims 1   4 characterized in that, on one or two sides of the banner serving as general support, the set of pockets (4) is produced by the use of strips of transparent plastic material in one piece, the zones of which (5) stitching, gluing, thermal bonding, heat welding or stapling constitute at regular intervals the peripheral delimitation of   each of the transparent pockets.   7) Device according to claims 5 and 6 characterized in __ TT   in that the access to the interior of the transparent pockets is carried out either by their upper (6) or lower part or even laterally, according to the arrangement of the seams, bonding, heat-bonding, welding or stapling.   8) Device according to claims 5 and 6 characterized in   that access to the inside of the pockets is blocked by a   closing to ensure the preservation of the inserted document.   9) Device according to claims 5 to 8 characterized in   io that the transparent pockets have at their bottom one or more orifices (7) any intended to   allow the evacuation of meteoric and condensation water.
