Abstract

A wallpaper designed to give a trompe l'oeil decorative effect consists of basic strips (1) with imitation mouldings along their edges, and panels with similar side mouldings (10) which can be stuck onto the basic strips. The panels have additional upper and lower imitation mouldings, creating a central section in the shape of a frame (5) round a blank space (11) which can be used for applying a trompe l'oeil sculptured image.
