Abstract

When the plants or parts of them (2) are positioned on the flexible sheet (1) and covered with the two outer sheets, the whole assembly is welded together under pressure. The plants are firstly subjected to a pressure of approximately 10 kgs/cm2, and then to a drying process at an ambient temp. of approximately 25 deg. C. The welding of the two outer sheets takes place at a temp. of 165 deg. C and under a pressure of at least 20 kgs/cm2. The flexible foil sheet is of plastic, and the disinfection medium used for the plants is acqueous formaldehyde.
