Abstract

The document is held between two rigid transparent plates (2). Their upper and lower edges are covered by horizontal U-shaped sections (3, 4) and their lateral edges are covered by vertical U-shaped sections (5, 6). The sections are joined together by vertical cables (7, 8) which suspend the frame. The cables pass through the edges of the upper and lower sections and extend along the vertical lateral edges of the plates. The plates are held in the vertical sections by screws (13) through one of their wings (5a, 6a). The ends of the wings (5b, 6b) are wider apart to hold the introduction of the plates. USE/ADVANTAGE - Plates holding documents such as plans or photographs vertically suspended so that documents can be easily removed by one person.

Apparatus for replacing documents (1) such as plans, photographs and the like, pinched between two rigid transparent plates (2) intended to be placed vertically, characterized in that it comprises two substantially U-shaped profiles (3, 4) horizontal, adapted to cover respectively the upper edge and the lower edge of the plates, at least two substantially vertical U-shaped profiles (5, 6), adapted to receive the respective lateral edges of the plates, and means for removably securing these profiles with the plates and suspension (7, 8) of the assembly in the vertical position.

2. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that said means comprise cables (7, 8) connected to the horizontal sections (3, 4) and vertical (5, 6) extending along the vertical edges of the plates (2 ), the latter being tightened without play in the vertical profiles by suitable members such as screws (13) passing through a wing (5a, 6a) of the profiles.

3. Apparatus according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the lateral profiles (5, 6) in

U have wings (5a, 6a) whose ends (5b, 6b) of entry are flared, in order to facilitate the introduction of the plates (2).

4. Apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the suspension cables (7, 8) pass freely through the ends of the upper horizontal profile (3), and are fixed to the lower horizontal profile (4) that they cross at its ends.

5. Apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the cables (7, 8) are removably attached to the side profiles (5, 6) by clamping members thereon such as lugs (9) carried by the profiles.
