Abstract

The subject of the present invention is a method and a device for creating a musical or sound ambience. It is characterised by the breakdown by sampling (1) of any sound sources into elementary sounds which are then, by means of an appropriate computer system (2), sent individually, as the creator wishes, to a significant number of loudspeakers (5) supplied by a multi-channel amplifier (4) and distributed in space in such a way that the listeners are entirely surrounded by the sounds produced.
