Abstract

The invention relates to a prefabricated cladding for covering a wall, especially a lift cabin. The cladding comprises a support plate (12) made of rigid material covered on one face with a layer constituted by granules (14) of hard material, these granules being agglomerated to each other by means of a curable bonding material (15) giving the said layer of granules a high degree of cohesion.

On connaît plusieurs types de parements pour parois de cabine d'ascenseur, par exemple des panneaux en bois, en stratifié, en particules agglomérées, ou en matière synthétique et recouverts d'une mince feuille de matière thermoplastique. Ces dégâts nuisent à l'aspect esthétique de la cabine, et le plus souvent ils affaiblissent la résistance mécanique de la paroi et la qualité acoustique de la cabine. - à découper des plaques supports ayant les dimensions particulières des surfaces de l'ascenseur à revêtir,
- à former à partir de plusieurs lots de granulés de matière dure, ayant respectivement les couleurs demandées par l'utilisateur, au moins une réserve obtenue en mélangeant les granulés des différents lots dans les proportions requises, pour obtenir le mélange particulier de couleurs demandé par l'utilisateur,
- à mélanger séparément les granulés de ladite ou desdites réserves ou desdits lots de granulés unicolores, avec une matière de collage, afin de former plusieurs mélanges relativement pâteux mais durcissables,
- à étendre sur la plaque support en une couche d'épaisseur constante chacun desdits mélanges, sur la ou les zones choisies , de façon à former les motifs souhaités ressortant sur une couleur de fond,
- à faire sécher la couche ainsi déposée,

- to form from several batches of hard material granules, having respectively the colors requested by the user, at least one reserve obtained by mixing the granules of the different batches in the required proportions, to obtain the particular mixture of colors requested by the user,

- mixing the granules of said reserve (s) or those of said single-color batches separately, with a bonding material, in order to form several relatively pasty but curable mixtures,

to extend each of the said mixtures onto the support plate in a layer of constant thickness, over the chosen area or areas, so as to form the desired patterns which stand out on a background color,

- drying the layer thus deposited,

- and possibly to coat its free surface with a layer of varnish.
