Abstract

Disposable feeding bottle with incorporated teat reserve and sterilisation compartment intended for feeding neonates and babies, this feeding bottle comprises: - a removable teat, teat holder assembly, - a reusable tubular body or container with a shoulder at the level of its neck and with windows and slots for reading the levels, - this container acts as a support, by means of its shoulder, for a single-use bag intended to receive the foodstuffs, - the sterile sachet used, covered with a capsule which protects it, is fitted with a detachable wire which facilitates its unfolding, - a removable compartment arranged at the base of the container comprises 2 volumes: * one for storing a prepacked teat in reserve, * the other for sterilising the teat, teat holder assembly.

Description

The present invention relates to the feeding of babies and children in stockings. Feeding a newborn or an infant must meet an imperative
Bottles and teats used to transport liquid or semi-liquid milk food must be sterile.

Two types of baby bottles are currently used:
-Classical baby bottles
-Disposable baby bottles
The classic baby bottle
In glass, usually with a reusable nipple, it is sterilized in several ways:
* Traditional domestic sterilization of baby bottles and teats in a container of boiled water
* Commercial sterilization device
* Immersion of baby bottles and teats in a liquid containing sterilization product.

All these operations are tedious and must be repeated every day.

Disposable baby bottles
* Are either completely disposable: bottles and teats.

 They are most often mini-bottles pre-filled with milk used during the short stay of the newborn in maternity.

 * Or are based on the principle of using a reusable graduated container.

This plastic container serves as a support for a single-use plastic bag.

In this type of bottle the teat is not sterile, it must therefore be sterilized by conventional means to be reusable.

 I1 is then a hybrid solution with the same drawbacks as the conventional bottle.

 * Or the nipple is sterile, intended for single use and attached to a disposable bag.

This type of bottle has three disadvantages
- It is more expensive
- It does not respond to the physiology of the infant, it recognizes and appreciates an already used pacifier, therefore more flexible and more familiar. This argument is very important when we know the difficulties of adaptation to a pacifier and the tests
Often unsuccessful to find an effective one.

 - The pacifier is attached to the pacifier holder with hard friction so that removing the pacifier once placed, for example to add another forgotten food or to change the dose of milk, is practically impossible.

The subject of our invention is the production of a bottle combining the advantages of the conventional bottle with those of the disposable bottle.

 - Like the classic bottle it is sterile and the sterile teat is reusable.

 - Like the disposable bottle, it is light, unbreakable, used temporarily. It can therefore be used both at home and in a second home, when traveling or camping. Finally it reduces the absorption of air by the infant which limits the usual digestive disorders at this age.

According to the invention the bottle is characterized in that it comprises
- A removable pacifier-pacifier holder assembly.

 - A tubular body or container with lights for reading the levels.

 - This container serves as a support for a single-use bag intended to receive food.

 - Various modifications ensure sterility and ease of installation for this sealed bag.

- A removable compartment is placed under and in the container it includes two separate volumes:
- One for sterilization of the pacifier holder assembly
- The other serves as a reserve for a sterile prepackaged nipple.

Various other characteristics of the invention will also emerge from the detailed description which follows. Embodiments of the object of the invention are shown, by way of nonlimiting example, in the accompanying drawings.

According to FIG. 1, the bottle comprises a teat-teat holder assembly, (18) a body or container (1) formed in the form of a cylindrical tubular envelope and made of opaque, transparent, transparent or translucent plastic material chosen from the range materials resistant to high temperatures. The upper part of the container or neck has a shoulder (2) of smaller section, the mouth of which constitutes an annular bearing which serves to support a flexible or semi-rigid collar (3) integral with the sterile sachet (4).

At its upper part, a locking system (5) of the nipple holder which can be, by way of nonlimiting example, a conventional screw pitch, a quarter turn screw pitch, a gag system etc.
The container body is perforated with a series of windows (6) allowing the circulation of hot water intended to heat the contents of the sachet. It also has vertical lights, the longitudinal edges of which include graduated marks (7) to constitute one or more scales for direct reading of the levels of the products poured into the bag (4).

For example windows, lights can be arranged at an angle of 1200.

At the lower part of the container, a fixing system (8) which can be, by way of nonlimiting example, a thread, a clip system, etc., is intended to receive the double volume compartment of FIG. 2.

At the top a cover is used to protect the bottle during periods of non-use. vs)
The transparent food-grade plastic bag (4) consists of:
- On the one hand with a flexible or semi-rigid collar (3) of thickness slightly greater than the shoulder depth of the container (2) this in order to ensure ltétanchélté free from the pressure of the screwed nipple holder.

 - On the other hand of a bag (4) which can be produced in several ways for example by extrusion or by blowing and be made integral with the collar (3) by gluing, welding or overmolding.

At the base of this bag a flexible plastic wire (10) which is easily detachable makes it easier to unfold the bag (4) inside the container. The wire is pulled down through the bottom hole of the container.

These bags are covered with a cover (11) which can be made of aluminum, plastic or any other material. This seal protects the sachet and guarantees its sterility. The use of the sachet is thus facilitated, it suffices
- Place it on the shoulder of the container.

 - Unfold it with the wire attached to its base.

 - Open it by removing the protective cover just before use.

According to Figure 4, these sachets can be packaged as a non-limiting example
- Either in individual packaging (12)
- Or in collective packaging (13) per variable quantity, for example 50 sachets so as to be able to cover the feeding of an infant for one week.

According to Figure 2, is shown the removable double volume compartment located at the base of the container and engaging inside thereof. This compartment of the same material as the container is intended for the storage and sterilization of teats.

The sterilization operation performed at the end of each feeding will make the teat fit for use with the next feeding.

The positioning of this compartment under and in the container makes it possible to obtain a smaller volume of the entire bottle which facilitates storage in normal living conditions or when traveling.

The fixing of this removable compartment can be carried out by way of nonlimiting example by means of reliefs on the external surface of the container opposite impressions or depressions located on the internal face of the compartment. This operation is facilitated by the existence of a concentric cylinder (14) outside the base of the compartment.

In this compartment two volumes coexist separately, the upper volume (15) is intended to receive a sterile prepackaged nipple. A cover (16) screwed or otherwise closed protects it. This pacifier is a reserve allowing an exchange in the event of a false maneuver.

The lower volume (17) is used to receive for sterilization and storage until the next feeding, the set-teat ring-teat holder (18). The pacifier holder is placed on studs (19) arranged in a crown inside the compartment and which serve as a support. Its external surface has a crenellated appearance delimiting reliefs and depressions.

According to figure 5
- The reliefs (20) allow the stable maintenance of the teat during movements.

 - The depressions allow a perfect circulation of the sterilization liquid where the teat-teat holder assembly bathes.

The sterilization volume is closed off by a screwed cover (21). The incomplete unscrewing of this cover allows the release of diametrically opposite openings (22) visible and identifiable on the external face of the compartment.

These orifices allow, after proper orientation of the pins (23), a progressive emptying of the sterilization liquid before the release of the pacifier assembly, pacifier holder.

The sterilization liquid is obtained by adding to the water filling the volume (17) a solution or tablets predosed with a sterilizing product, for example sodium hypochlorite. Pacifier and pacifier holder are immersed in this mixture located in this airtight volume.

Among the various advantages of the bottle according to the invention, it should be noted that the short sterilization time makes the teat perfectly sterile and suitable for the next feeding.

The use of the same teat is a more economical solution and more suited to the physiology of the infant.

Claims (5)

1) Baby bottle characterized in that it consists of a cylindrical container (1) open at its two ends in which comes to adapt to its upper part (2) a disposable bag (4) intended to receive food, maintained by the pacifier assembly, pacifier holder (18); at its lower part a double volume assembly (15-17) cooperates by a system (8) with the container (1). 2) Bottle according to claim 1 characterized in that the cylindrical container (1) comprises a shoulder (2) at its upper part intended to receive the sterile bag (4), this sterile bag having a rigid thickened part in a collar (3) for its positioning on and in the shoulder (2), its retention being ensured by pressure of the pacifier assembly, pacifier holder (18). 3) Bottle according to claim 2 characterized in that the double volume compartment (15 and 17) intended to fit into the bottom of the container (1) has a fixing means (8) intended to cooperate with the receiving means (8) secured to the container (1).  4) Bottle according to claim 3 characterized in that the double volume compartment comprises a first volume (17) sterilization pacifier, pacifier holder; in this. lug compartment serving as support for the pacifier assembly, pacifier holder (18) and facilitating the circulation of the sterilization liquid; two orifices (22) dia metrically opposite allowing the emptying of the sterilization liquid without complete disassembly of the cover (21) the orientation of the orifices being by marks (23), and a second volume (15) which serves as a reserve for a sterile prepackaged nipple. 5) A bottle according to claim 4 characterized in that the sterile disposable bag (4) has a protective cover (11) closing the filling orifice and at its lower part a detachable plastic wire (10) for its placement in the container.
