Abstract

According to the present invention, the device for presentation of a length of crimped surgical thread is characterised in that the needle, fitted in the presentation element containing the thread, reveals 2/3 of its crimped end in a recessed part of the presentation element, thus making it possible to take it up directly with the aid of a needle holder, without handling either the needle or the thread.

PRESSNTATION DEVICE: QTA XT FOR SURGICAL SUTURES
The present invention relates to a presentation device intended in particular, but not exclusively, for the packaging of needles of crimped surgical sutures.

The invention aims more particularly to simplify the gripping of a needle of surgical wire crimped using a surgical instrument called "needle holder".

Most of the current displays are made of strong paper, in which the needle is not always highlighted, which saves precious time in surgery. Other models let the needle read, which requires manipulation of the needle to position it on the needle holder.

The present invention aims to combine these two types of pre8entoir.

According to the present invention, the presentation device for a needle of crimped surgical thread is characterized in that the needle encased in the display containing the thread, clearly shows two-thirds of its end crimped in a hollowed-out part of the display thus allowing it to be taken direct using a needle holder, without handling either the needle or the thread.

On rig.I we see that the device is made, in the example shown, in a single piece of strong paper pre-cut and folded characteristically. The precut explained below means that in this example, once folded, the device has the shape of a rectangle of 55x30 mm in which characteristically appears a window of 15 * 10 mm at 5 mm on the short side and at 7, 5 mm from the large sides. In this window appears the crimped end, in the example shown, of a 15 mm I / 2 curved crimped needle.
