Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to vary the height of the firebox 1 by a vertical micrometric displacement. This invention makes it possible to act at will and as required, with accuracy, on the height of the firebox 1 by means of a device based on winding drums 2, return pulleys 3 and cables 4 or any other system allowing the same micrometric vertical displacement. This device is controlled both by motor and by transmission system : chain, sprockets 11 with locking at three positions by means of a ratchet mechanism.
