Abstract

Device allowing the low B plate to be closed simultaneously with the opening of the opening of the low E flat of a flute. It consists of a lever 1 welded to the E flat key 3 acting under the return 5 of the low B key 2. <IMAGE>

Description

Title of the invention: IF OF RESONANCE.

The present invention relates to a device aimed at one appreciable improvement in the accuracy and homogeneity of the timbre of the sound of a transverse flute.

The transverse flute is provided at its end with a leg of UT or a leg of SI. The latter has the effect of being able to issue the note of serious SI. As currently used, the transverse flute accompanied by an SI flap contains so-called hollow notes and with accuracy that is approximate but not exact, notably the MI flat.

The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks.

The mechanism characterizing it, includes a set of cross-references allowing the closing of the low SI platform simultaneously with the opening of the low flat MI platform. The fingering of the instrument and its operating technique are unchanged. The device creates a so-called resonance zone at the end of the flute. This gives the instrument a gain in accuracy, especially on the E flat hitherto very doubtful and a perfect homogeneity of the registers.

The open notes are less hollow.

The accompanying drawing illustrates the device of the invention.

The device according to the invention is applicable to all transverse flutes with an SI tab.

The device permitting the closing of the flat bass (2) simultaneously with the opening of the E flat bass (3) on the leg of a transverse flute, consists of a lever
(1) welded to the hinge / 41 of the low E flat plate {3J and being housed under the return (5) of the bass key (2). The device retains the operating autonomy of the bass key (2J and does not in any way modify the fingering and the functioning of the keys for sharp pound (6) and C serious (7).

Claims (1)

  1.  RE VENDICA TIONS
The device allowing the closing of the low grave plate (2) simultaneously with the opening of the low E flat (3) on the lug of a transverse flute, consists of a lever (1) welded on the hinge (4 ) of the E-flat low plate (3) and being housed under the return (5) of the bass key (21.The device retains the operating autonomy of the bass key (2) and does not modify in any way the fingering and functioning of the C sharp (6) and C (7) keys.
