Abstract

Device for lifting and shifting loads of the type using retractible small wheels, characterised in that it consists of two frames 1 which can be fixed to the load to be shifted and each comprising two small wheels 2, each fixed to the end of a lever 3 which can pivot about a horizontal spindle 4, means being provided to simultaneously pivot the levers so as to apply the small wheels of the corresponding frame against the ground. The free ends 7 of the levers 3 are simultaneously subjected to the action of a cam 5 driven by a lever 8 pivoting, via one of its ends, about a horizontal spindle 6 of the corresponding frame.
