Abstract

Following on from the main Patent Application No. 85 11660, whose subject was a glasses frame illuminating the field of vision of the user, and protecting his eyes, using a clip system which can receive the lenses and which is fitted with two miniature lamps 2. The present addition relates to the switching off of the electrical power supply of the lamps, the electrical contact being breakable by folding one of the arms 3 of the frame, accommodating the following system: in the fixed part of the frame, two conducting sockets 28 connected to the electrical lead 1 come into contact with two studs 29 of the same nature, mounted on springs 30 and connected to the power source. When the arm 3 is folded, the studs 29, because of their shapes, leave the sockets 28 and break the electrical contact; in order to remake the contact, the reverse operation is performed.
