Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to pierce sausages uniformly, before putting them under a grill, in order to prevent them from bursting and to allow a slow outflow of the fat. The device consists of two crowns 1-2 assembled by means of a stapled joint 3 sliding on the external periphery and three spiked wheels 4 mounted on sliding rods 5. The rods slide in their recesses which are stamped in the lower crown. Curved stamped notches 6, forming a thread, whose projecting parts engage the notches of the rods, control the position of the rods. The spacing of the wheels is obtained by rotation, in one direction or the other, of the top crown, the other crown remaining fixed. The sausage is pushed, then pulled through the device, causing the wheels to rotate and the sausages to be pierced.
