Description

PERFECTED JACKET WITH REMOVABLE PADDING.

 The invention relates to an improved jacket, in particular of the anorak type.

 As is known, an anorak is made of an external fabric giving the decoration and the impermeability and a lining confining and this, in a fixed way, a wadding of filling whose function is the maintenance of the body temperature.

 The major drawback of this type of anorak results from the fact that the wadding is permanently fixed, therefore implies a use of the anorak limited to cold.

 In addition, such anoraks are a delicate maintenance because washing tends to deteriorate the wadding, therefore to reduce its thermal qualities.

 A variant of such anoraks consists in providing a detachable lining fixed to the external fabric by pressures or any other suitable means. But in this case, the jacket no longer has a sleeve and is therefore unattractive.

 The invention overcomes these drawbacks. It is aimed at a jacket of the type in question, with wadding which is of greater use, not limited to cold and of easy maintenance.

It is therefore an improved jacket constituted by an external fabric and an internal lining trapping a wadding of filling, characterized
- in that said wadding is removable,
- And in that the lining has a flat iron slot arranged in the vicinity of the neck, intended to allow the wadding to be removed.

 In other words, this improved jacket is characterized by the fact that the wadding is removable and can be removed by the opening provided for this purpose on the lining in the vicinity of the collar.

Advantageously, in practice
- the wadding is removably attached to the outer fabric just below the collar and at the end of the sleeves
- the wadding is fixed by a system of hook fasteners sold under the registered trademark "VELCRO".

It is preferable to choose a slit in an arc going from one scapula to the other, passing at the level of the cervical vertebrae, so as to facilitate access to the armholes. The slot is located near the neck but not at the level of the neck itself to avoid stiffening. The slot is closed with a zipper.

 The manner in which the invention can be implemented and the advantages which result therefrom will emerge more clearly from the example of embodiment which follows, given by way of indication and without limitation in support of the appended figures.

 Figure 1 is a summary view of the upper part of the jacket.

 Figure 2 is a detailed view of the wadding insertion slot.

 Figure 3 shows a cross section along line III-III of Figure 2, the slide slot being closed and the wadding attached.

 Figure 4 is a cross section along line III-III of Figure 2, the slide slot being open and the wadding detached.

Referring to the figures, the jacket according to the invention essentially comprises a collar (1) with its flaps (2) and armholes (3). In known manner, it is constituted by
- an outer fabric (4) providing the decor and the impermeability, for example a polyester woven fabric commonly used for this application
- an internal lining ply (5), for example a non-woven ply of hollow polyester fibers
- a lining fabric (6) intended to come into contact with the body, for example polyester / cotton.

 According to the invention, the lining (6) has at the level of the neck (1) a slot (8) extending in an arc-decircle from one scapula to the other and passing at the level of the cervical vertebrae, surrounded by a closure slide (9,10).

 Similarly, on the upper internal part of the external fabric (4), is fixed a hook attachment member (11) sold under the registered trademark "VELCRO".

The removable ply (5) also has at its upper part at the neck a similar fastening member (12) cooperating with the member (11)
The end, not shown, of the sleeves of the lining ply (5) is attached to the end of the sleeves of the jacket by any conventional means of the buttons, snaps, etc. style.

 When in range, the characteristic slot (8) is closed (Figure 1).

 When the user wishes to remove the filling ply (5) either to clean the jacket or to lighten it, he opens the slot (8) by means of the zipper (9) and (10) and removes the ply lining (5) by detaching the fastening members (12) and (11) and the buttons / pressures from the ends of the sleeves.

I1 follows from the present invention several advantages, namely
- adaptability to temperature because it becomes very easy to remove the cotton wool,
- great ease of maintenance due to the fact that the wadding is no longer wet during washing and therefore retains all of its properties,
- the sleeves are lined,
- the cost price is lower compared to the added vest,

 1 / Improved jacket consisting of an external fabric (4) and an internal lining (6) trapping a wadding of lining (5), characterized in that  - the wadding (5) is removable  - The lining has a closed slot (8), disposed at the level of the neck (1), intended to allow the filling of the wadding (5) to be removed.  2 / Improved jacket according to claim 1, characterized in that the wadding is removably attached to the external fabric (6), just below the collar and at the end of the sleeves.  3 / Improved jacket according to 13.5 claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the wadding (5) is fixed in the upper part of the jacket by. a hook fastening system (11) and (12), sold under the registered trademark "VELCRO".  4 / Improved jacket according to claims 1, 2 and 3, characterized in that the slit (8) describes an arc which goes from one shoulder blade to the other passing through the cervical vertebrae.  5 / Improved jacket according to claims 1, 2, 3 and 4, characterized in that the slot is closed by a zipper (9) and (10).
