Description

DEVICE FOR FIXING ON A WALL OF THE DUCTING DUCT

OF A CABLE CONTROL

  The present invention relates to fastening devices on a

  wall of the sheathing duct of an eQble control, of the type comprising a

  tubular end, intended to receive the end of the sheathing conduit and pre-

  sensing a profiled extension, and a tubular locking member comprising

  bearing a flange and a substantially cylindrical mounting part of the

  designed to be placed in an opening in the wall and to be received with

  formations the extension of the nozzle in order to secure the latter to the wall. A device of this type is described in document FR-A-2 381 937 in

  name of the applicant. In devices of this type, the locking member

  The object of the present invention is to propose improvements to fixing devices of the above-mentioned type, of simplified structure, of

  the locking member are made in one piece by molding in material

  plastic link, the extension of the end piece comprising a conical end normally extending partially in the locking member and connected to

  the latter by breakable radial tabs.

  With such an arrangement, there is thus a fixing device

  monobloc greatly simplifying supply and storage problems

  ge and ensuring a perfect match between the tip part and the

  part forming a locking member as well as a reliable and precise mounting.

  Other features and advantages of the present invention are-

  The locking member 2 comprises a substantially cylindrical mounting part 10, intended to be inserted into an opening 11 in a wall 12

  mounting part 10 by an annular shoulder 14 intended to come to bear

  The extension 8 of the nozzle 1 is shaped so as to present, from

  In accordance with one aspect of the invention, as shown in the figure

  1, the end piece 1 and the locking member 2 are made in one piece by soft

  lage of a plastic material of medium hardness, typically a polyamide or

  a polyscetal, the conical end 15 of the extension 8 extending partially-

  Lement in the bore 15 and being connected to the latter, at the front face-

  adjacent plate of the flange 13, by breakable radial tabs 18

  under the effect of a relative displacement between the end piece 1 and the locking member

  beam 2. Typically, the tongues 18, with a radial extension of the order of 0.5 mm, are three in number and angularly distributed around the common axis of the end piece 1 and of the locking member 2. With such an arrangement

  it will be understood that, after the locking member 2 has been put in place in the

  groove ll of the wall 12, as shown in FIG. 1, and by exerting a pressure on the end piece i in the direction towards the locking member 2, the

  tabs 18 break and the profiled end 15 of the extension 8 of the em-

  end forcibly enters the locking member 2 to adopt the locked position shown in FIG. 2 with the shoulder 7 of the end piece 1 in abutment against the flange 13 itself in abutment against the surface of the wall 12 and with the end of the mounting part 10 of the locking member 2 opposite the flange 13 deformed radially outward due to

  the protrusion 17 of the extension 8 of the end piece 1 thereby locking the em-

  end 1 and the locking member 10 on the wall 12.

  Although the present invention has been described in relation to a particular embodiment, it is not thereby limited but is on the contrary liable to modifications and variants which will appear to

  one skilled in the art. Thus, the locking member 2 can be provided, at the op-

  fitted with the flange 13, with an end part folded inwards

  forming a scraper in accordance with the teaching of document FR-A-2 381 937 above-

mentionned.

Claims (3)

  1. Fixing device on a wall of the sheathing duct (4)   a cable control (5), comprising a tubular end piece (1), intended to   cevoir the end of the sheathing duct and having a pro-   spun (8), and a tubular locking member (2) comprising a flange   (13) and a substantially cylindrical mounting part (10) intended, to be provided   placed in an opening (11) in the wall (12) and to receive with deformation the extension (8) of the end piece (1) in order to secure the latter to the wall (12), characterized in that the end piece ( 1) and the locking member (2) are   made of a single piece by plastic molding, the extension   ment (8) of the end piece (1) having a conical end (15) extending nor-   badly partially in the locking member (2) and connected to the latter   deny by breakable tabs (18).   2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the   mounting part (10) of the locking member (2) has a wall   dull substantially cylindrical (19), and in that the conical end (15) of the extension (8) is connected, opposite the locking member (2), to an intermediate cylindrical zone (16) by a rounded protuberance (17) of   outer diameter (D) greater than the inner diameter (d) of the part of floor (10).   3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the intermediate cylindrical zone (16) has an outer diameter (6) substantially equal to the inner diameter (d) of the mounting part (10) of the member locking (2).
