Abstract

Individual, disposable protective device for gripping a fuel-dispensing nozzle. The invention relates to a device making it possible to safeguard the hand when taking hold of and handling equipment which is very often dirty such as, in particular, a gas-oil-dispensing nozzle. It is formed on the basis of a thin plastic sheath 1 and takes the shape of a mitten which is inscribed within a rectangle having a width equal to that of the sheath. It is presented in the form of a string, and each element can be detached from the element following it by virtue of a pre-cutout 2 produced at the same time as the heat-fusible impression constituting the mitten - welding of the base 3 and formation of the thumb by welding and cutting-out along line 4. The device according to the invention is intended particularly for customers of self-service petrol stations.
