The present invention relates to a drive rod closure device for the leaf covered with a window or door with two leaves without a central upright, the wings of which have a recessed groove for receiving fittings, the vertical upright located on the side of the covered leaf opening comprising a flanged rail transmission provided with a flanged rail and the drive rod of which can be connected to the locking slide of a sliding bolt housed in a bolier and the end of which free cooperates with a closing part provided on the lower cross member of the leaf, with a part provided with a locking stud fixed on an adjustment rod and whose flanged rail comprises at one end a C-shaped return bolier, receiving a return member connected to the adjustment rod, and to which is fixed a connecting stud passing through the wall of the return case.

 I1 is necessary for a window with two casements whose frame does not have a central upright, to lock on the frame of the frame the casement covered with an additional locking element, and which can be operated independently of the fitting of the covering leaf.

 The document AT 364 270 describes a closure device for a drive rod composed of an edge transmission, one end of the drive rod of which can be connected to a sliding bolt. The free end of the locking slide housed in a housing of the sliding lock cooperates for example with a closing part provided on the lower cross member of the frame of the frame.

 This known drive rod closure device can be used at the vertical upright of the covered leaf, on the opening side in the case of a window or a door with two leaves and whose frame does not have central upright, the edge tranmission not comprising the locking members passing through the flanged rail, that is to say without flanged rail transmission. For example in the case of a window produced using hollow profiles, the drive rod closing device is covered by an alternating profile fixed on the covered leaf and which serves as a support beam for the covering leaf .

 In the case of a pivoting and tilting fitting for the overlapping leaf, a tilting articulation closure part is provided at the level of the sliding bolt in the rebate of the alternate profile.

 I1 is also known in the case of a drive rod closure device to use instead of the sliding bolt connected to the flanged rail transmission described above, in particular in the case of a wide leaf, a part provided of a gearbox on the lower cross member of the overlapping leaf, part of which the locking pins cooperate with a closing part provided on the frame of the frame, and controlled by the closing device of the driving rod.

 This closing device as well as the closing device described above cannot however be used in the case of windows or doors with two casements and which are supported one on the other by means of a spar. support, without interposition of a central upright and in the vertical upright of each leaf, there is provided at the same distance from the plane of the frame, a groove offset in the rebate, because if a fitting of pivoting and tilting for the overlapping leaf, the location of the sliding bolt or the part is occupied by the tilting and pivoting closing part.In addition, the part which is provided in particular on wide leaves and which serves to lock the leaf on the frame cannot be connected to the flanged rail transmission if at the same time for the locking of the leaf on the same cross member of the frame, a sliding lock is provided connected to the transmission.

 The object of the present invention is to create a closure rod closure device for the leaf covered with a window or a door with two leaves, the frame of which does not have a central upright, and which allows the use of a sliding bolt and a part as well as removing the alternating profile while allowing the use of a part for closing the tilting articulation.

 To this end, the invention relates to a device of the above type, characterized in that the housing of the sliding bolt has a U-shaped section and the locking slide is provided between its free flanges on the base plate. , in that a part for closing the tilting articulation is provided on the opposite side of the base plate, in that for connecting the part for the engagement of the connecting stud, there is a cavity in the locking slide and in that to guide the locking slide, the flanges are connected to an angle.

 In this embodiment, the base plate of the sliding latch housing is provided with the tilt articulation closure part. The two parts form a constructive unit to be connected to the flanged rail transmission. The locking slide mounted between the free flanges of the U-shaped section housing of the sliding lock is guided by an angle which connects the flanges. The sliding bolt bolt, housing open in the direction of the free flanges, allows the part to be connected to the sliding bolt, which in particular serves as additional locking for large windows; for this, to ensure a connection by force of the connecting stud which passes through the wall of the C-shaped guide member, a cavity is provided in the locking slide. In the assembled state and during the control with the flanged rail transmission, the locking slide and the work locking pin can be actuated simultaneously, so that the covered leaf can be locked on the frame of the frame independently of the fitting of the overlapping leaf, and this simultaneously at two points.

 According to an advantageous practical embodiment, the base plate is provided with an extension which projects over the free end of the covering rail and the lower face of which comprises a rivet stud which comes to engage in a cavity of the rail to ledges. Due to the rivet connection of the stud, the sliding lock is thus fixed integrally in a non-removable manner, simply on the flanged rail of the transmission.

 It is particularly advantageous and advantageous to provide a cavity in the base plate and to provide the locking slide at this level with a curved portion and to provide the angle iron at the cavity, near the free end of the sliding lock. .

Because of this embodiment, the free branch of the C-shaped return housing provided on the part can be guided at the corner of the leaf, more towards the outside, that is to say in the plane of the sliding lock so as not to require further adjustment of the corner of the leaf in the recessed groove.

 According to a practical embodiment, the angle is bent and its free branches have a stud which comes to take in a hole of the rail with edges of the part and in that the base plate of the sliding bolt comes to take over in the manner of 'a hook, the outer face away from the leaf of the flanged rail provided with the hole. This eliminates an additional security means at the corner of the leaf after the meeting of the room and the sliding lock, for the flanged rail of the room.

 So that the same closing parts as those of the fitting used for the overlapping leaf can also be used, the free end of the locking slide which leaves the sliding lock housing is provided on both sides with a cavity at the edge.

 Finally, it is also advantageous for the locking slide and the drive rod to form a constructive unit. This allows the two parts to be produced in a single operation, that is to say in the form of a stamped part. This eliminates the junction between the drive rod and the locking slide.

 .The present invention will be described in more detail using an embodiment shown schematically, in section in the single appended figure.

 The two-leaf closure shown in section in the figure consists of a fixed frame 1, without a central upright; the frame carries two leaf frames 2, 3 made using plastic profiles. The leaf 2 mounted on the left is a pivoting leaf and constitutes the covered leaf 2 while the right leaf is a pivoting and tilting leaf 3; this leaf 3 is overlapping.

 On the vertical spar 4 located on the side of the opening on the leaf 2 covered, a support beam 5 is fixed provided with an external support for the leaf 3 covering.

 In the rebate of the vertical beam 6 located on the side of the opening on the leaf covering 3, there is provided an edge transmission 8 in the groove 7, offset, this transmission forming part of a pivoting and tilting fitting. The edge transmission 8 comprises a continuous covering rail 9, along which a drive rod 10 can slide. A tilting bearing stud 12 is fixed to the lower end of the entrainment rod 10, this stud coming to take behind the longitudinal slot 11 of the covering rail 9. A driving stud 13 is riveted above the tilting bearing stud 12 on the covering rail 9. By actuating a transmission not shown, fixed on the covering rail 9, it is possible to connect or separate the leaf 3 covering with respect to the frame 1.

 The leaf 2 covered includes a closure of the drive rod on the vertical beam 4 on the side of the opening; by means of this closing means, the leaf 2 can be connected or be disconnected from the frame 1, independently of the covering leaf 3. The closure of the drive rod comprises a flanged transmission 14 which is housed in a groove 15 provided in the rebate of the vertical beam 4. This groove 15 is also offset and has the same distance from the plane of the frame as the groove 7 provided in the rebate facing the leaf covering 3; it is thus directly opposite the groove 7.

 The flanged transmission 14 comprises a flanged rail 16 and a drive rod 17 which is guided in longitudinal translation on the flanged rail 16. An operating member fixed to the flanged rail 16 makes it possible to move the drive rod 17. A sliding latch 18 is connected to the lower end of the transmission 14. The sliding latch 18 has a housing 19 with a U-shaped section and between the free flanges 20 thereof, a locking slide is provided 22 on a base plate 21; the slider 22 forms a constructive unit with the drive rod 17 of the transmission 14. To guide the locking slider 22, an angle 24 is provided at the free end of the sliding latch 18 which is connected to the flange 20.On the opposite side of the base plate 21, there is provided a closure part of the tilting joint 23 which is provided with closure walls.

 The lower closure wall is formed on the base plate 21 while the upper closure wall is connected by rivet and is adjusted by means of an eccentric screw 26. Above the closure wall is a projection 27 serving as safety for the recess for the driving stud 13. An extension 28 which projects beyond the free edge of the flanged rail 16 is produced on the base plate 21; a rivet stud 30 engages in a cavity 29 of the flanged rail 16 below the extension 28; the rivet stud immovably secures the sliding lock 18 to the transmission 14. The free end of the locking slide 28 which forms a single piece with the drive rod 17 has on both sides a cavity at the level of the edge and cooperates with a closing part 31 provided on the lower cross member of the frame.

 A part 32 is housed in the groove 15 of the lower cross member of the leaf 2; a C-shaped return unit 34 is fixed to one end of the flanged rail 33 of the part 32. The free branch of the return box 34 comes into the groove 15 of the vertical upright of the leaf 2. A return member is housed sliding in the return unit 34; one end of the return member is connected to a locking stud 35 of the adjustment rod 36 and which passes through the flanged rail 33. The locking stud 35 cooperates with a closing part 37 provided on the frame. A connecting stud 38 is fixed to the lower end of the return housing 34. This stud 38 passes through the wall of the return housing 34 and its free end comes to take in a cavity 39 of the locking slide 32. The slide 32 is thus connected by a force connection with the sliding latch 18. The rail with edges 33 of the part 32 has a hole 40 to be connected to the bolt bolt 19 of the sliding latch 18, hole in which comes the stud 25 provided on the free branch spacer 24.

To guarantee the position, the base plate 21 comes to take, in the manner of a hook behind the flange rail 33 provided with the hole 40 at the level of the outer side distant from the leaf 2. To avoid having to adjust the corner of the leaf 2 the groove 15, the base plate 21 of the housing 19 of the sliding bolt comprises a cavity 41 in which the curved part of the locking slide 22 takes up so that the return bolt 34 of the part 32 can come to take partially in the plane of the sliding lock housing 19.

 Thanks to the achievement of the closing of the training rod, the covered leaf 2 can be locked independently of the fitting of the leaf covering 3 by the locking slide 22 at one end of the driving rod 17 with the lower cross member of the frame 1. From more, the part 32 connected to the locking slide 22, part 32 which is necessary in particular for a leaf 2, wide, to ensure a good seal, the leaf 2 covered is also lockable by the locking pin 32 on the lower cross member of the sleeping.
