Abstract

The tooth pick comprises a handle, together with a pointed elastically deformable elongated pick element (2), the latter having symmetrical concave sides (4,5) connected by a concave base (6). The element tapers down towards the tip and the side opposite the base has two supple walls (7,8) defining a hollow of an approximate 'V' shape. A circular groove (10) may form the bottom angle of the 'V' and the two side faces may be similarly equipped (11). The three grooves may be at the same level and the head width (d) may be less than the base width (l), the two walls coming together to give the element a triangular cross-section similar to that between the user's teeth.

Description

La présente invention concerne un cure-dents pour nettoyer les intervalles dentaires et en particulier pour éliminer la plaque dentaire qui se forme dans ces intervalles. Les intervalles dentaires existent en général à partir de l'âge de 20 ans et leur dimension augmente avec l'âge.
