Apparatus according to claim 3, characterized in that the edges of said portions of fingers, thumb and wrist are stitched together.   5. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that said fabric has elastic properties and said glove has   a form producing pressure on the hand.   6. Apparatus according to claim 5, characterized in that said glove applies a pressure of about 0.673 kPa on the wrist area of the hand and a pressure of about 3.365 kPa on the zone   fingertips of the hand.   Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that said pressure applying device comprises tear-shaped cutouts formed in the fabric at the bases of said neighboring finger portions, the edges of said cuttings being secured together. Apparatus according to claim 7, characterized in that   that the edges of said cutouts are stitched together.   Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that said glove is formed from a pair of similar fabric pieces each having a wrist portion connected to said finger and thumb portions by a body portion and a flap connected to said wrist and body portions, and a fastener for securing said flaps together to maintain said glove on the hand.   1o. Apparatus according to claim 9, characterized in that said fixing device is adjustable to apply pressure to a wrist portion of the hand. Apparatus for treating a human hand, characterized in that it comprises a fabric glove comprising finger and thumb portions connected to an open body portion on one of its sides and a fastener connected to said portion   body on said opening to hold said glove on the hand.   Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that said fixing device comprises a pair of flaps, one of which is attached to an edge of said body portion on either side of said opening, and a device for fixing said   flaps together on a wrist portion of the hand.   13. Apparatus according to claim 12, characterized in that said fixing device comprises loops on said   flap and hooks for engaging in said loops.   14. Apparatus according to claim 11, characterized in that it comprises a device for applying a pressure in   a dorsal palmar space on the hand.   Apparatus according to claim 14, characterized in that said device for applying pressure comprises   tear-shaped cuttings formed in the fabric at the bases of the   said portions of fingers adjacent, the edges of said cutouts being fixed together.   Apparatus according to claim 15, characterized in that   that the edges of said cutouts are stitched together.   17. A method for selecting a glove for burns among several standardized dimensions, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: a) a pair of two-dimensional measurements are chosen which are in correlation with the volume of the hand; b) dividing a population of hand volumes into a predetermined number of substantially equal ranges or subgroups of populations; c) drawing two-dimensional diagram areas for each subgroup based on the intersections of said two-dimensional measurements selected with reference to a predetermined point on the diagram; d) each zone of the diagram is assigned one of the standard sizes; e) placing a hand on said predetermined point; and f) taking the intersection of the pair of two-dimensional measurements for said hand to choose the glove size normalizes appropriately.   18. The method of claim 17, characterized in that one of said two-dimensional measurements starts from the base of   the little finger of the hand towards the said areas of the diagram.   19.
