Abstract

The free standing shelving is of a sectional construction using a base module comprised of a framed laminar shelf panel. The frame repeats at vertical intervals defined by post segments and provides support for the shelf. Node joints cater for the connection of post segments together with frame components, and the latter may use edge brackets to support the shelf. The shelf may be of glass or lined timber and the frame may comprise straight horizontal rectangular sections with housed corner joints. The post segments are connected by stud bolts to inset ferrules.
