Abstract

A design for a moulded plastic pallet comprises eight pillars located at the centres and corners of each side of a standard rectangular plan linked to each other and to a ninth, central, pillar by pairs of integral beams flush with each face of the pallet. The spaces between the beams is both plan and section are empty. The design has a relatively high stiffness/wt. ratio.
