Abstract

The door-catch has an external face (11) parallel to the plane of the closed door and a plate (15) transverse to the external face. The plate has a pair of holes (17) for fixing screws which engage into the door jamb (2) along an axis oblique to the plane of the closed door. The holes (17) are positioned in the bottom of oblique recesses (22) which are rectangular flaps pressed out of the plate on three sides (24). The recesses constitute anchorage claws which lodge into corresponding notches (27) in the door jamb.
