Abstract

The elastically deformable pin surrounds the wire, completely preventing contact between the wire and the posts which would lead to chafing and deterioration of the wire. The pin (15) has a circular head (16) of internal diameter equal to the diameter of the wire, and two tapered arms (17), the rear of the arms being notched (18). The post (12) has a curved rebate (13) with a drill hole (14) in the base large enough for the pin to enter when the arms are pressed together, the edges of the hole engaging the notches in the pin.
