Abstract

The conveyor consists of a suction pipe (3) the end of which can be inserted in the granular product. The pipe is connected to a receiver (1) fitted with a vacuum pump (6) at the top end. The bottom of the receiver has a chute (9) discharging into a rotary paddle valve (20) operating through a sieve. The product is sucked into the receiver where the velocity falls and the product is allowed to drop onto the rotary valve for discharge to process.
