Abstract

The integral brake and steering lock for wheels has a rocking brake shoe (10) inside the wheel support fork and is operated by the rocking pedal (7), which has nonslip pads (8), via connecting rods (14). When the pedal is depressed, the end (9) of the rocking shoe is depressed about the axis (5) onto the wheel stopping it by friction from sliding or rotating. In the same movement the end (11) is raised so that the point of the shaft (12) penetrates the serrated teeth (13) fixed to the steering pinion (3) preventing the wheel from being turned.
