Abstract

Appareillage pour le travail ou usinage automatique aussi bien des joints longitudinaux que circonférentiels dans des cylindres de forte épaisseur. L'appareillage est supporté par un manipulateur 2, par exemple du type à bras, capable de soulever et déplacer la tête 1 pour la positionner par rapport à un joint, par exemple un joint circonférentiel 3 de soudure entre les cylindres de forte épaisseur 4 et 5 qui sont supportés de façon à pouvoir tourner autour de leur propre axe longitudinal par l'intermédiaire de deux groupes de rouleaux 6 et 7 dont l'un est commandé de façon connue en son. Une tête opératrice 8 est supportée par l'appareillage 1 de façon à effectuer des déplacements aussi bien dans le sens vertical que dans le sens horizontal, pour positionner une meule 9 par rapport au joint 3. Application au soudage des joints de gros cylindres.
