Abstract
The electrified trawl net has a pocket (1) with an opening (2) which has an upper line of floats (3), a lowr line of weights (4) and wings (5a, 5b). The dragnet is drawn by a boat by means of at least one cable (6) and a transverse beam (7) to whose ends the wings of the pocket are connected. An anode (9) is carried at the middle of the beam near the pocket opening and a cathode is immersed near the boat. The anode and cathode are fed with periodic impulses from an electrical circuit. The impulses are derived from one half of an alternating input of sinusoidal form.
