Abstract

Rod or bar for a shower bath is for fixing to a wall and has a shower rose carrier slidable along it. It also has a sliding handle fitted to it whilst diverting guides are provided near either end. Two ropes or cords connect handle with shower rose carrier and are looped about the diverting guidances. At least one end of each cord if firmly connected to shower rose carrier or slide handle. The cords are prf. of polyethylene filaments. The rod has pref. rectangular cross-section.
