Abstract

The equipment regulates the flow of fuel through the carburettor jet of an IC engine. It has a needle moving in a body fixed to the carburettor and into the jet opening. To give controlled throttling of the jet, the needle is coupled to the moving position of an electromagnet. A spring acting between the latter portion and the needle guide is accommodated inside the electromagnet coil housing. In the electromagnet circuit there can be a thermostat switch, an indicator lamp, an electronic device regulating the current, and a pushbutton.
