Abstract

The free-standing structure consists of uprights onto which are fixed sections such as support shelves. The tops of the uprights are detachably fixed to cross shaped, L or T shaped connections (4) onto which tubes are slotted, to form a lattice (3). The connections consist of cube-shaped bushings on which are sleeves (6) with slots (11) corresponding to the slots in the tubes. The shelves clip onto the uprights by means of clasps made of sheet metal.
