Abstract

The component (18) keeps a wall on which a solar heat collector is mounted watertight in the event of failure of the glazed portion or the absorbers. It is fixed to the component (65, 20) supporting the wall. The supporting components (65) can be produced in a standard size to suit existing absorbers on the market, and the sealing component (18) can be mounted directly below the absorber (8), forming an additional wall for the latter, protecting against any failure. It can also have a face reflecting any heat emitted by the absorber.
