Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie chimique. Elle a pour objet un procédé pour produire des nitriles aromatiques par réaction d'un composé aromatique halogéné avec de la formaldoxime en présence d'un catalyseur au cuivre, qui est de préférence l'iodure de cuivre I, et d'un agent accepteur d'acide, qui est de préférence une amine tertiaire. Le procédé est préféré pour remplacer par un radical cyano un atome d'halogène en position ortho de la liaison azo d'un colorant azoïque.
