Abstract

Each half cage has a perforated frame formed of plastics material in the form of a truncated cone. The small end of each half has a central circular hole (6) with a rounded edge. A neck (7) is received in this hole in the upper part. The large and small end of each half is connected by strokes (4). The annulus around hole (6) in the lower half is filled with concrete ballast (8). The two halves are connected together by mating clips distributed around the periphery of the large end. A plastic net (14) surrounds the assembled cage and a grille (9) covers hole (6) in the lower half.
