Abstract

A square piece of absorbent loose woven fabric is fringed deeply at two opposite ends leaving selvages. The fringed square is then accordeon pleated and inserted into metal head provided with upward facing short tube for inserting of broom handle. By sewing together the selves as they droop on each side a mop is formed. The metal head is of inverted U shape with two holes on each side for securing it with nuts and bolts.
