Abstract

The architectural and planning concept is described as "a national plan for the year 2000". Urban development is limited exclusively to the elevated space above lines of communication e.g. roads or railways. The network of roads and railways conforms to a spiders web pattern following coastlines, river banks and national frontiers. The plan releases 70% of the land for agriculture, and minimises journey times for local domestic and business purposes. The plan would improve the quality of life and reduce human and technological pollution to nominal proportions. Mono-directional railways or roads may be built between partition walls.
