Abstract
Ce dispositif destiné par exemple à être utilisé dans des systèmes à boucle à verrouillage de phase, comporte un premier et un second comparateur de phase. Le premier comparateur de phase présente un haut gain (par exemple 1000) et un domaine de différence de phase étroit (par exemple 5 degrés ) et le second comparateur de phase présente un domaine de différence de phase nettement plus élevé (par exemple 720 degrés ). Le second comparateur de phase est automatiquement déclenché lorsque le dispositif travaille dans le domaine étroit et les signaux de sortie des deux comparateurs de phase sont combines d'une manière proportionnelle telle que la caractéristique de sortie combinée soit linéaire sur la totalité du domaine de différence de phase. Le temps de verrouillage d'une boucle à verrouillage de phase qui utilise ce dispositif est raccourci de 10 à 100 fois et le bruit peut être ramené à des proportions négligeables. Application : synthétiseurs de frequences.
