Abstract

L'invention concerne un récipient hermétique pour une batterie à métal alcalin. Deux boîtes métalliques extérieurs opposés sont fixés hermétiquement sur une bague de céramique qui supporte un boîtier intérieur en matière conductrice des ions alcalins. Le joint hermétique est assuré par des rebords annulaires sur des bagues metalliques associées avec les deux boîtiers extérieurs et une paire de rondelles intercalées entre les rebords annulaires et les surfaces supérieure et inférieure respectives de la bague de céramique. L'invention s'applique notamment aux batteries au sodium-soufre.
