Abstract
The electronic system can be used as a lock or bolt or trigger of a mechanism. The system has a fixed part containing a control circuit for the mechanism and a moving part which fulfils the role of a key. Each of these two parts contain a preferably programmable memory. The same binary bit combination is recorded in the memories. One of the two parts of the system contains a timing pulse generator. The moving part can be electrically brought into contact with the fixed part. The memory signals from the moving part actuated by means of the pulses from the generator are compared with the contents of the fixed parts memory. In the case of proven identify, an opening, unbolting or trigger signal is actuated. Both parts of the electronic system as well as auxiliary circuits are made up of integrated circuits.
